Name calling and obscenities aside, no matter how bad the ref is there is no excuse for making purposeful contact with them. Blowing a fuse and mouthing off is one thing, pushing over a ref is another. I have no beef with Pontian, or ever have for that matter, but you would have to suggest that the player involved deserves a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
