I might have a big mouth but at least I'm not a coward. Just about any of your players could have pointed me out plus I'm not exactly hard to miss. Yet, suprisingly, grewcock was VERY quiet all day.

Finished crying about Sandy leaving yet?
I do my talking on the pitch mate, unlike yourself..I dont want to know who you are, but i did watch some of the b's game and your team was crap to say the least, i cannot imagine how poor your c's and d's are

Perhaps you should wait until your a's have won a game before you start calling people rejects

Well done today. In the B's we got out of the starting blocks too slow.

In terms of the A's, a nice touch not singing the song what with the news that the club received at half time.
Yeah certainly was a shock to all of us as well, only meet him a couple of times but was a champion lad

Just a suggestion that the lads put forward last night was we should look at having a medal or shield in his name for the best player each time we play or something along those lines

Good game yesterday. Was definitely one of the closer games that could have gone either way!
I think you guys have a good, solid squad, but were a little too one-dimensional up front. Nevertheless, happy with our performance across the park. A great win considering the quality of the opposition. Cougars next, will be physical. We keep our cool, we should earn another three points and start to look like a threat at the top half of the ladder!

Hi REDREDREDv2

We are playing the Cougars this week end. Is there anything you can tell us about them?
Although you hammered them, I know that they can be a good ball-playing opposition. Was it that they were bloody ordinary yesterday or that you guys are bloody good?

Would like to hear what you think and can share about the Cougars...... :?: 8)

Vista 3-0 Grove

Vista finished their chances in a poor game as a neutral. Was very surprised at the size of the crowd, thought there would have been a lot more supporters. Ref Steve Gregan was once again comical, as some of the decisions were bizzare to say the least! He should think about giving it up because he wasnt up with play at any stage.

You obviously only watched the first half then, because we were the better team in the 2nd half. Before slating them, I would suggest you take a look at the league table. We are the team with 8 points more than you. That said, I struggle to see how you are in that position with some of your team who seem to only manage to make it into your B's side.

Imagine how crap our C's & D's are. They are a young up and coming players and they are a decent enough side that just need to get some more confidence and development and they are the future of the club.

As for the rejects, well I have been calling you that for 4 years now, why stop. It's either that or calling your coach a poacher, which would you prefer. It's called banter.

I would suggest that you have some decent blokes in your club so stop letting them down by acting like a 2 bob mug. I just hope that you are in fact someone I know, in which case good wind up. I genuinely believes you were an idiot.

Must agree about Steve Greegan, some decisions were very poor twards both sides and he barley moved out of the centre circle. Great though for Vista to get points on the board!

Thanks mate for a good even contest that could have gone either way, you Boys will be pushing every side to the hilt this year, Good to see our boys recover from the height that troubled us in Rd 1 v Sturt Marion. We are now starting to get a few quality boys back and are improving by the week, we have only played to no more than 50% of our potential this season but have only conceded twice since rd 1. Jamie Ellul is looking good in goals now that the defence in front of him has settled down and he seems to know what to expect!!!!!! as was not the case early on. We have been forced into at least 4 changes every week but our squad depth has covered for it and with our B team setting the pace and 8 set to return this week..................

El Salvador V Munno Para

A's 1 - 4 (1-1)
B's 0 - 11 (0-5)

After a lot of speculation about where on earth the El Salvadorians play and whether they would forfeit etc. etc. I rocked up to Gepps Cross Girls High school and suprisingly it was business as usual.

The Para B's obviously had a day out. A comment from one of the elder statesmen in the ES team, who is still running around and at times looked like their most dangerous and creative player, summed it up pretty well when he mentioned that Munno Para are a proper team. There didn't really seem to be any 'hopeless' players on the park for ES, but it did look as though they had almost never played together before.

The A's was a much closer contest. As I have learnt over the years, El Salvador generally are a totally different team away than they are at home. Whilst Munno Para certainly enjoyed a larger slice of possesion and a large percent of the game was played in El Salvadors half, they certainly didn't make it easy for Para. It was a very competitive game and this team may be sitting on the bottom but I suspect they will take a few points before the end of the year. Underestimate at your peril.

Well done to the the Munno Para Sunday C's who also got a 0-9 win against Adelaide Villa (away).

Sunday Div 3 Round 5

B's - Plympton 1 v Adel Vikings 2
A's - Plympton 0 v Adelaide Vikings 9

Good back to back wins for the reserves today after last weeks first win.
The A grade was fantastic, after having to make 4 changes to the starting 11 from last week due to illness and work commitments, I was a bit nervous playing the dogs on their home ground. We were aggresive from the start and scored 2 goals in the first 10 minutes, it was 4-0 after 30 mins and could have been 7 or 8 at half time with a few one on ones missed and the cross bar getting in the way. Second half saw the dogs come out a little better but the game was gone and they couldnt keep the intensity. We arose from our quiet period and scored another 5 goals in the last 30 mins. We look forward to hosting Brahma next week as they have had some solid results so far.

A's - USC Lion 2-1 Para Hills East

Started off poorly again by conceeding an early goal, but it seemed to spur us on abit. Djoko then equalised with a nice volley from a corner. We seemed to be in control of the game, but didnt really create many chances. Scored the winner 10 minutes from the end. Good result for us, but still alot of work to do. Especially after losing another player to a Premier League club last week.

B's - USC Lion 1-5 Para Hills East

Scoreline says it all. Didnt really get into the game. Keeper was average :D but so was the rest of the team. We did manage to score a belter though.

would have to agree, poor game to watch, Vista took chances well, especially the 3rd.
Referee was poor, he gave a free kick up the field for decent, i didn't realise we played
the 50 metre penalty rule.
