COME ON BRISTOL!!

Post by Hawkesy »

i hope they beat this 2 bob side with their plastic fans. Would far prefer to have a real football side in the final than the surrey green wellies wearers.

I mean selhurst park as a premiership ground. :D I'm loving the thought of Ronaldo changing in the portakabin's in the corner.

haha Simon Jordan on the screen, got to laugh at him. If he spent as much money on ground improvements that he does on sun bed sessions then palarse would have the best ground in the country.

Dele Adebola went close with that header, palarse keeper looks like seaman when he grew that poncey pony tail.

Always rated Dele when he was a at Crewe

AND I don't remember anyone slating Bristol City. Marvin Elliot's still shit though.

Do away goals play a part in these playoffs? I know they don't for the conference playoffs but how about the league playoffs?

I was just about to post a comment about Simon Jordan, what a cunt.

Come on Bristol, although IF they get promoted, i believe they will come straight back down unless they buy near enough a new team. There goal difference was - something in the championship! imagine what it would be in the premiership. They conceded 6 to Ipswich! and are best player is Jon Walters! imagine them facing Ronaldo, Rooney Etc..

Goal difference was +1, but yeah, to have a +1 GD and qualify for the playoffs is amazing.

Free-kick to City, indirect around 30 yards out, McIndoe to take… he slides it quickly to Carle just inside the area, who pings it across the face of the box and CAREY HAMMERS THE RIGHT-FOOT FINISH INTO THE TOP RIGHT CORNER FOR 1-0! Classic set-play from City, they take the lead!

a well worked free kick, straight off the training ground.

A sicknote Millwal reject on the pitch now. Paul Iffil was a great player but he might as well have been a tampax, 1 week in - 3 weeks out.

Fonte gets the ball in the box, he tries to flick it over Carey he gets his head on it but Carey slips to let Fonte in and brings him down! Penalty to Palace! Oh no, what have City done? Architects of their own downfall :(

Watson steps up to take the spot-kick against Basso, who is a penalty expert… but the Palace midfielder makes no mistake and sends an unstoppable strike into the left-hand side of the goal for 1-1!

Lawrence heads the ball clear, it drops to Carle who slides it inside to Noble, 25 yards out, and he sends a sweetly-struck curling shot past the flying Speroni into the top left! What an incredible goal! Bristol City lead again!

proper football team, with proper football supporters though.

I feel sorry for you smaller teams I really do, I mean sometimes it's easy to think about us and just round the corner in croydon is you lot, not even owning your own ground and having to have little teams from provincial towns as your rivals because those naughty boys from Millwall scare you.

Anyway, I thought you were an arsenal supporter. Do you find it embarressing that I have seen either of your teams play in their own stadium (well let me rephrase that - at the time it Was Ron Noades's stadium) than you have seen them both?

I presume you have never actually been to selhurst if you are going to describe it as 'great'. The changing facilities are second rate, for an amateur side. Funny, I've probably played at selhurst more times than you have been there.

As for Millwall being scary, ask your fellow fans who always seem to be too scared to turn up at Millwall. It's a direct train line from Millwall to palarse and still you brought most of your fans in by coach the last time we played. What's the matter are those nasty boys from that big city near you, too scary for you.

Only a couple of weeks ago you had an arsenal avatar and signature and then you say 'palace till the end'. It would be hysterical if it wasn't true.

selhurst is a great ground, its ur own personal opinion to call them second rate. ive been there twice, once against chelsea and the other against watford, cause i dont have the luxury of living in england, so i make do with tv to watch them. i dont care about ur playing career hawkesy, pluss why would we want to visit a struggling div 1 teams ground.

and how many times do i have to tell you, yes i still like arsenal, 'because they are apart of my family' just like palace. get over it mate.
