that was just my 2c Mr Mug!! sorry for getting you involved the reason for my post was that i just wanted to get an opinion from a neutral point of view on the matter and when i asked for anyone at the club that disagrees to pipe up they all know that i was asking them to do it in person!! not on the forum.

I'll say these last things to imanoutlaw on any of these subjects as I think he has already made himself look like a complete tool. I'm not sure what game he was watching in regards to Robbie's send off but from my point of view it looked like he was sent off for getting involved in an altercation between other players. I have no idea where he got Robbie was the last man from cos that is utter crap & I'm sure other people who were there would agree with me.

Also unlike you I won't come on here & bag another club or it's players. You've probably got no idea but I played at Vista for about 12 years in juniors & seniors. I'm still good mates with a lot of the players there & I refuse to bag them on their current situations & if you wanted other players to talk to you about the send off at training why would you bring it up on here!?

That's all I say on this stuff enough is enough!

LEFT RIGHT OUT- i agree with u ... the captain has the right to ask why a decison was made... if these precious primidonas

could answer and not be intimated jeez ...

as a coach ( im not) if a player is sent to hosptial the referree has a RIGHT to explain to the coach or captain y he didnt give a decision
As a qualified ref I will tell you that the captain does not have a right to ask the question. He has the same rights as any other player. Generally speaking, I will answer any questions if they are asked politely and if you want to discuss something after the game, then bring a beer and I will explain myself for as long as you are buying.
qualified ???/ in what hawkhead
And as ususal anything for a free beer.

gregan may be ordinary at times( are'nt many of them) but word is this same player coaches at playford and has served time this year for abusing refs in state league

after last week big surprise
Redfred, Yes you are completley right, I play for Gully and Coach Playfords ressies. Want to back up the rest of the tripe your on about?

Firstly were you at the Fulham VS Gully game today?

Were you at the Salisbury Vs Playford game?

If not Why dont you SHUT UP and crawl under the rock you came from.

Firstly: Salisbury VS Playford Ressies, at half time I asked the Ref to get control of the game, I had a player of to hospital after a takle from behind went "Unnoticed" and I had a penalty given against us for handball when it was ball to hand and a penalty NOT GIVEN TO US with the REF producing a yellow card for diving only to put it back in his pocket when he realised the player needed treatment and was substituted because of his injuries. I got a 3 week suspension for swearing at an official, I wanted to challenge it and wrote an email to the FFSA but they wanted $250 to appeal, sounds like revenue raising to me, I also asked for a refs report and was informed that doesnt happen.

2nd: I am the Captain of TTG and I asked several times WHY a decision was given and was told to Shut my Mouth? and told I have no idea, hardly the response from someone with people skills, I also as why we got a penalty and NO YELLOW OR RED WAS PRODUCED, last man in the box?

I think refereeing would be the hardest gig to do but if you have fitness, people skills and know the LAWS of the games (Not the rules as Steve pointed out to me), I asked why he wasnt taking any notice of the linesman his response was "He puts his flag up everytime so Im not taking any notice of him".

Redfred you are intitled to your opinion but know the facts before you mouth off.
LRO I agree completely with you about Steve Gregan - his ability to ref and communication skills on the park are completely below standard. If anything, you could say his attitude is completely aggressive from the outset of every game and has become worse of late. I have been left bewildered by his aggresive nature towards players and feel it is completely unnacceptable, especiallly the shut your mouth comments etc. However, he is remarkably different off the field...... weird.

Anyways can't believe you are still running around in div 2... Great to see you coaching still, you were one of the best coaches I had as a junior. Go Salisbury City U/15's.....1997...? HA
