What a Win For Puma's
Great game to get pumas back on track.
With a 5 Nil win over Adelaide Croatia.
Which has moved pumas up to 6th place on the ladder.
Also a great start from the new players who have come from nelson rd,
With all new signings starting and playing well.
Should be a good sign of things to come for pumas
So lets keep it going lads

Three tough, tough games to begin the season against the two relegated teams and one of the top div 2 teams from last season.
The new players that have come "to" the Pumas home ground "just off Nelson Rd" have all been warmly welcomed and will certainly be integral and highly valued contributors to our season.
For these players, and the many new faces in the squad, we have and will continue to go to every effort to ensure ongoing reflected loyalty and respect from the club to our players, old and new.
For those who stand quoted in last weeks tipping thread as claiming a lack of observed depth at the Pumas:
A training squad of 40 registered and financially committed players is presenting us with anything but the concerns of absent depth.

Re: What a Win For Puma's
Pumas deserved to win in the A's, they out played Croatia
B's was another story... the referee for the B's, looked like he was from the 70's, his outfit was the only good thing about him. Some really bad decisions made but didnt have an effect on the result.
Puma's away changing rooms (if you can even call the a changing room) are a joke, you have to access them through the Pumas changing room. Its where the showers are and a bench about 2 metres long. what a joke!

So are all 3 of our ex players out there? How did they all go? What positions were they playing? I hope they dont have too much pressure on them to perform or you might just see the back of them real quick.

i will take that as a "no comment" maybe we should have a press conference on "the hill" to find out. any reason they ended up at pumas?? no offense to pumas but if they were div 1 players y go to div 2??

There was an away change room for Croatia, to make them feel more at home a chook shed was set up for them ...
Re: What a Win For Puma's
I am assuming that representatives from Para Hills East are posting messages under the topic, a quick question:
where are Para Hills East sitting on the ladder in div 1 ad what is their goal difference?

Re: What a Win For Puma's
Fair enough i dont see how moving to Div 2 would help the situation maybe they should look at moving to Div 8 i hear east have a decent over 35's squad in that league. So i assume no one wants to enlighten us as to who has left tho........................?

Re: What a Win For Puma's
I don't know their names exactly, but who can blame them for leaving PH East, as a club they are a bunch of tossers....
They are bottom, they are minus 10 goal difference, they got pumped 4-0 to the farmers ... maybe we should set up a new forum topic with a voting poll as to how people think PH East are a bunch of tossers?
Am I being harsh?

Re: What a Win For Puma's
Schevvy, you are an idiot. Bottom of Div 1. I've played against Pumas for the last two years and they've been sh1te. Beaten 4-0 by Ingle Farm, Farm are the top side in the competition. Farm beat West Beach 5-0 and they smashed Pumas last two years. Think before you speak knob. All my contact with East has been positive and most people say the same. Generally a proud club with a strong history.
Re: What a Win For Puma's
I think you are being the tosser here pal. This guys isn't even from our club.....Schevvy wrote:I don't know their names exactly, but who can blame them for leaving PH East, as a club they are a bunch of tossers....

And to give our club shite is, well plain stupidity. Everyone from a div1 club on here will give us credit, because we have been around for so long and i think we have 4 div1 titles to our name. Have pumas even been in div1? Won anything since their inlcusion. i think not.
Do you know any of us personally? I would like to know how you think we are all tossers. And if this is one of you three i will be utterly disappointed.
Sure we are sitting bottom. Big deal. We will be fighting till the last game of the season and no matter where we are on the ladder we will always play for our badge on the strip and our supporter (although not many).

Re: What a Win For Puma's
Last time East wet down to Div 2 they were straight back up again. And they probably belted Pumas in the process. I cant remember if you freaks were in div 2 then.
Re: What a Win For Puma's
Oh no, we did play puma's a few years ago. I do beleive it was to the tune of around 8-0....... or maybe 8-1 even. Do you remeber that game Schevvy?

Well said mate. Most in Div 1 has some compassion for Easties plight this season. 4-0 doesnt look good but Easties battled all day like a proud club.East Boy wrote:I think you are being the tosser here pal. Players come and go, obviously 3 have left East for Pumas but I don't think that makes Pumas a great club and Easties a bad club. As East Boy said, when you have one some Div 1 titles, maybe Pumas will be held in as high of a regard.

Exactly East Boy, Schevvy, you are a D1khead. He probably doesn't remember because he prob wasn't there. Players dont seem to hang around at pumas. I wonder why that is, must be because East are tossers.

Since the Unknown player once strutted his stuff in the ressies for the East maybe we could call these guys "The Unknown 3 Amigos"?? Maybe another shirt called be named in their presence, "burros desconocidos", perhaps??imanoutlaw wrote:Post subject: Re: What a Win For Puma's Reply with quote

Boys - don't get your panties in a knot. If I realised you were all that sensitive I would have refrained from using the word "tossers", I would have used something a little more PC.

Panties in a knot - half of the people defending East aren't even from East. And they are worked up because they are a proud club. You are a goose.
Re: What a Win For Puma's
well guys its not all about history
Football is all about what happens on the pitch
Easts do have pride and history and a good one at that
but to loose 3 first team players during the start of the season would hurt.
Pumas are a young club and are trying to make history of there own but all i know is pumas have a lot of pride and always try and bring the young guys through and treat their players great
They were 3 younger players that left but i dont think this is the right place to say who.
