SASI Girls 2 - Croydon 2

Goal Scorer
Racheal 2

By far one of the better teams we have played this season.

Both Rachs goals were set up by paps, had a few chances to get some more goals but just could not find the back of the net.

From talking to the coach, I understand he is trying to bring in the senior players on a rotational basis.

Well DEYY,

Your the one that left us.............................................

There is a couple of the older SASI players that play each week ( as Drusetta said different ones each week tho), however they usually start on the bench.

Older players? rotational? Might be on to something here.

Do the forumites see this as a good idea? "Rotating the coaches"

They range in age from 18 to 24 I think.
Also at the moment have got Emma Wirkus ( Matilda Player) in goals as she comes back from injury.

Older players 18-24 (average 16-17) and a Matilda's keeper  , so why are playing in the under 15 comp. What a joke, one rule for the girls another for the rest. They should be playing in the WPL as the guys SASI team does(State league that is). Haven't the WPL have a bye this year?? Do their home clubs want their cake and eat it too!
Are they eligible for promotion or are the boys just training fodder for them, they should follow the rules, how big is the squad, the boys have to pick from 16 max then have to wear any injury's etc etc. Says a lot when the elite girls (women) of the state are only good enough to play under 15c's. Clubs should start challenging this shocking disregard of the rules, Ive said it before - call for a card check (thats if the girls have cards).

All these questions should be aimed at FFSA they were the ones responsible for placing the girls in 15C's. One would think there is merit in playing a few older girls with the younger ones. It appears the older ones spend time on the bench, also a good exercise in relation to any forthcoming National League.
The average age is probably 16 at best without the older players. Talking 3 or 4 older players each game I believe.
THIS IS ANOTHER TOPIC THAT HAS BEEN FLOGGED TO DEATH.
LIVE WITH IT AND :)

On average the age of the girls that are on the pitch most of the time is between 14 years of age and 17 years of age.

The older girls only help out as at the moment there are only 12 girls in the SASI squad. So when you take into account that we may get injuries as well that only gives a few options.....

The older girls do not play the full game. They only get 10 to 20 mins each. The rest is played by the younger girls......

And dont complain to us about being in the 15Cs, that was not our choice... We only go where we get put.

I would prefer the girls to be in a higher age group along with everyone else so take it up with the mighty FFSA.

Why don't they play in the WPL. Why can't anyone answer this question?
The older girls only help out as at the moment there are only 12 girls in the SASI squad.

Are the older girls in the SASI squad or not?

Average age is what -14 or 17 (can't have both)
And Mrs Trainer your the one thats asking for input about the girls in the 15c's(in other posts) so don't complain when you get some.

Lets face it 18 - 24 year olds are not even juniors, I don't care how long they play each game or if they are playing 15A 's or 16's they shouldn't be in a junior comp. Sure you can say they are a great asset to the younger girls but the under 15'sC means more to the teams and lads than a lot of people seem to think. To have it devalued like they seem to think is has been is unfair to lads.

and yes i have taken it up with FFSA

u girls should go play in a girls league or something. plus the other problem i have is that u r like 16 to 20 year olds playing with 13, 14 and 15 year old boys like myself. if u grls wanted to play u should hav played in the under 17's or maybe 19's but under 15 escpecially c's u should be ashamed. n when to try n cover the older plays by playin the 14year olds u came away with a draw.

plus that sasi chik that hit the ball into my family jewels may God bless u..... thanx  :D
