EVSC - Lose Striker

Post by Tim C »

I would like to wish Brooksy all the best with his new club.
Big loss to the Vale but understand the offer of playing back in the Super league was an offer too good to refuse.
MB remember where Mofflin Road is and stop in for a Bevie or 2.
Cheers and see you around !!
At the end of it all there will still be Football !!

It's a shame he left just after playing us. He could have at least made it fair and played the first 9 rounds.

Croydon?

That is interesting, I thought it may have been Raiders.

With the connections between the Vale and Raiders with Ivan and Branco, and radiers current form in the goal scoring department I thought that would have been a very educated guess.

Good luck to him, and all the best.
I think my drinking club has a soccer problem.....

This has got to be a massive loss for the Vale lads. Surely after a 5-2 belting by farm and now losing Brooksy will be terrible for team moral?!! Maybe they have to bring TC out of sweeper and put him in a place where he can be useful!!! Will Greaves make a starting return? I dont think that they can win the league with the team they play with on the weekend.....

but time will tell. Maybe like the whole cut snake theory though!!!

Vale just had a bad day against us. They beat the Downs only a couple of weeks ago so wouldn't write them off. The Nicholls bros can score a bag between them.

Regular goals will also come from Hotka, Hobbs, Ainsworth and even TC might chip in with some !!

The match with the Downs was very close, but I think that it would have been a different outcome if Brooksy wasnt playing. He, in my opinion, was the difference.

Also it wasnt till Brooksy joined them last year til they started playing to their potential. So it will be interesting to see how they go.

They will still be competative though, they always are.

Brooks is a huge lose but the Vale still have the best striker in the league in Chris Nicholls who has already put 5 away this season.

They will still be very competitive but might struggle defensively to win the title, my moneys on Farm, Downs or Westies as the dark horse.

Surely Hobbs and Hotka would score a lot more goals if they both lost 15kgs. They are very big boys. Need to be nice and trim like their captain.

My heart bleeds for the fritz eating biffs. A couple of weeks ago he had come home to the club and mates he loves and the Downs were sucked in. At least now Eddie can afford his dental work and the Vale can have their famous Fritz nights again. Boo hoo biffs great recruiting. :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P :P
There is no I in team, but there is a u in suck...
