Disapointing result considering we went 1-0 up inside the first minute. We missed several excellent opportunites to go even further ahead in the first half and i felt we were clearly the better side. Credit to Beach who came out fighting second half and were full of run. We had a B grader play 180minutes of football for us. Plus several injuries to players like Hunt, Djoko and Drago unsettled us in the second half. We conceded a scrappy own goal and couldnt string two passes together. Take nothing away from the Beach though, they kept chipping away and possibly could of snatched it in the end.

Apparently beach had some players back this week, im not sure. But they played well enough second half to deserve a point. As for our efforts, we were very average indeed. Disapointing result, we could of been third, now we are midtable.
Were any of the injuries serious redders? Did you get your fourth for the season?

End of the day though boys let your results do the talking.

As it stands currently Vista are looking shaky but early days - they have alot of new kids in their a's lineup and alot of experienced heads playing bs.

next few weeks will be tough no question but the whole divison is tough - things will shape up more by week 6/7 then we can start saying who will be down/up, until then perhaps you guys need to develop a thicker skin and just let some of the banter/trash just roll of your back instead of biting.
well said.

nice one fred but any retard can tell you that trials are used to try different things we only had ONE trial match in which we played a full strength squad plus due to injuries and suspensions we have been unable to field a "full strength squad" so if you want to look at it that way we have had ONE game as a full strngth unit!!!

Vista played Para Hills East.

East got the win 2 - 1 in the reserves and the first team game was 1 all. Very good performance from a young Vista outfit and it has been a really good pre season with a lot of positives coming from it. Bring on the season now.

"Right Said Fred" - you seem very interested in Modbury Vista. How come? We could organise a seat in our executive box for the next home game if you'd like.?? Then you could give us more words of your wisdom on how to turn things around.

Thanks for the interest.
