Agreed very good performance from the reserves and a great team effort all over the park. Great to see the first team scoring just hve to concentrate on not conceeding but have been unlucky to lose all games by one goal although yesterday was the only game of the three in which we were ordinary. A week of this week and hopefully come out next game fired up and take some points.

Good luck against Inter
Why is that funny?? Yeah have lost all 3 but all by 1 goal. No excuses but we obviously not at our best as yet but we are still confident of our abilities. Could of easily won against Gully but just slipped away to their credit and we were very average against Knights and still managed a 4-3 result. We'll be back don't you worry
Not worried at all mate - funny, wasn't suppose to be, I just think it's a BIG ask to take points of Inter currently, and with your form. Not impossible though - week off may do you guys good - time will tell.

We probably had the better of the first team game, and missed open goals at the end of the first half and beginning of the second half. Munno Para scored a nice goal on the break, before we equalised through a penalty with 20 mins to go.

B's game was a shocker for us, absolute shocker.
Aldo, your summary of the games is spot on for both A's & B's
I'd like to mention your B' grade Ref...I thought he was excellent, it's a real shame he coped abuse & crap from his own club!...some of the guy's in the B's need to pull their heads in & show your own official a little bit of respect
My 2c worth
Thanks Tick, and totally agree with you. We have a few older blokes in our team who fit the bill of 'Grumpy Old Men'! I played in the B's yesterday, and was embarrassed with our performance and conduct.

Hey Aldo,
hows JC (ex-NSL) player going at your club?

Ive heard he came out earlier in the year. is he still around?
hows he playing?

We tried to get him out at our club, but the forces of Blue Eagles swayed him back to Marden!!

next time you see him, tell him the ex-norwood boys at ISC Raptors say hello :D

Are there any match reports posted about the games on any sites?

B's San Marco 1 v Adelaide Vikings 0
A's San Marco 3 v Adelaide Vikings 7

Another interesting game to watch today with 10 goals in the A grade following on from last weeks 7 goal fest. Was pleasing to see us create so many chances and in the end could have been closer to double figures. In the B's third loss in a row with 0-1 result, got to get that ball in the net lads.[/quote]

one female supporter yelled out go back to your own country during the reserve game (when fulham player dived in the penalty box after the bosnian keeper collected the ball)
game was played in good spirits, both teams had chances to score. everyone predicted fulham to win and that their too strong for bosna but being there and watching the game i think bosna was better and more talented. fulham tried with the long balls but bosnas defence was too solid. maybe 2 shots on target for fulham.. looking forward to the return leg

A's West Beach 1-1 USC Lion
B's West Beach 3-0 USC Lion

Disapointing result considering we went 1-0 up inside the first minute. We missed several excellent opportunites to go even further ahead in the first half and i felt we were clearly the better side. Credit to Beach who came out fighting second half and were full of run. We had a B grader play 180minutes of football for us. Plus several injuries to players like Hunt, Djoko and Drago unsettled us in the second half. We conceded a scrappy own goal and couldnt string two passes together. Take nothing away from the Beach though, they kept chipping away and possibly could of snatched it in the end.

Apparently beach had some players back this week, im not sure. But they played well enough second half to deserve a point. As for our efforts, we were very average indeed. Disapointing result, we could of been third, now we are midtable.

He played in trial games and first game, but his hammy is playing up at the moment. Top bloke to have around the club. By the way, you have plenty of ex-ABE players anyway! :P

A lil bit early to predict relegation isnt it X???? does that mean you think that the downs could be relegated aswell seeing as they have had early season jitters? not quite sure how you can come to a conclusion 3 games in..... but if your right i will shake your hand on the last day of the season.... how does that sound?

same can be said about most teams inter has new coaches for all teams and at least 10 new players through a's and b's. im sure i heard gullyz only just got a coach  a couple of weeks ago. but looking at vistas b's results they obviously have a bit of depth but coming off 3 losses inter, grove, and fulham will be very hard tasks and will certainly make or break your season. just need to shut the flood gates obviously there isn't so much an issue of scoring as there is defending.

Nice spot of fishing there redfed...seemed to of caught a big haul :)

End of the day though boys let your results do the talking.

As it stands currently Vista are looking shaky but early days - they have alot of new kids in their a's lineup and alot of experienced heads playing bs.

next few weeks will be tough no question but the whole divison is tough - things will shape up more by week 6/7 then we can start saying who will be down/up, until then perhaps you guys need to develop a thicker skin and just let some of the banter/trash just roll of your back instead of biting.
