Great day for the Gully A's. Thought the Grove would give us a better fight , but they never looked like coming back even when we went down to 10. Just shows that class & belief will always win out.

thanx forza roma for the correctness :D and a thanx to Motts, downs coach for rubbing it in my face after the game with a nice letter that he gave to my coach -trev :D must have fired u up alot then!
once again, i've been proven wrong, had a great game by my standards - NOT! the defender on me was so far up my arse i didn't know where i started and he finished. ALL FKN GAME! he played very well as did all the team. Yes i have egg on my face and cake but can't help in adding to banter on this forum. Thanx Motts and good luck rest of season. won't be dribbling like that again, i can assure u!
all i can say is that in the return trip, i won't be having an off day - HOPEFULLY :D

Sunday Div 3

B's San Marco 1 v Adelaide Vikings 0
A's San Marco 3 v Adelaide Vikings 7

Another interesting game to watch today with 10 goals in the A grade following on from last weeks 7 goal fest. Was pleasing to see us create so many chances and in the end could have been closer to double figures. In the B's third loss in a row with 0-1 result, got to get that ball in the net lads.

Crickey! How old is Gary Price now Swanny? I remember marking him about eleven years ago when he was at Noarlunga. I thought he was an old bastard then. Is he playing first team for the Knights?

Gary is playing 1st team and contributing while he is on the park. His calmness on the ball set up Knights first goal.
Talking with Steve Cox before the game he thinks Gary might be very close to 50 !
With his son playing, possibly one of the few father/son combinations in the higher divisions.
It was a good game to watch plenty of attacking from both sides.
Spectators were treated to 19 goals in the 2 games !

pumas were decent in the first and really pushed, but looked a differant team in the second which allowed inter to control the game. could of been a bit more for inter. very unlucky not to get more
solid hit out for both for the most part.

As for Gary Price he played against us in the first round, Nothing beats experience, he played a holding role in the midfield against us just in front of the defence. Smart, reads the game well and distribution is spot on. Doesnt matter how old you are if your doing your bit for you team. Just like Fuda for the downs, Hass for Gully. You just cant beat experience and brains.

The way it should be! I'll teach you how to write Bodø one day

They are high scores. Similar to that at the Jets last week.

Gary looks the same as he did when he made his debut for Croatia after coming to Oz in the Rothmans First Division back in the 80's. Class player.

poor reffing for the B's (hand balls and offsides non stop)
anyone know why the game was played at fulham gardens??

A's: MSSC Blue Eagles 1 - 1 Munno Para
B's: MSSC Blue Eagles 1 - 6 Munno Para

We probably had the better of the first team game, and missed open goals at the end of the first half and beginning of the second half. Munno Para scored a nice goal on the break, before we equalised through a penalty with 20 mins to go.

B's game was a shocker for us, absolute shocker.

Aldo, your summary of the games is spot on for both A's & B's
I'd like to mention your B' grade Ref...I thought he was excellent, it's a real shame he coped abuse & crap from his own club!...some of the guy's in the B's need to pull their heads in & show your own official a little bit of respect

 Good to see vista has no problem in the goals department i think it may be time to have a look at the defence....... i think that after starting off the season with 3 games and 3 losses its crucial that a win is sought in the next two weeks otherwise the rest of the league could leave vista behind. great effort in the b's and good to see there is pleanty of depth. 10-2 is a fantastic result for the boys and great to see some of the b's AND A'S from last year really making a push for the A's. very difficult in both games to pick a M.O.T.M for vista for two different reasons..... in the B's there were so many possibilities with Great performances from MJ, McCabe, Ian, Hawkins, Scott Hall Daniel Harrison...... The list goes on, in the A's However...........well there wasnt really any STANDOUT players. :( I doubt the A's will see a ball this week.... Whereas the b's will be having a ball!! no pun intended.

Why is that funny?? Yeah have lost all 3 but all by 1 goal. No excuses but we obviously not at our best as yet but we are still confident of our abilities. Could of easily won against Gully but just slipped away to their credit and we were very average against Knights and still managed a 4-3 result. We'll be back don't you worry
