Leeds appeal
Their appeal is being heard today.
If they were to receive their points back and then win on saturday (which they won't ) they are promoted.

Re: Leeds appeal
And when they lose to Millwall on saturday and then get points deducted after the fighting breaks out they won't even get a play off spot

Millwall have asked that the announcement on the deduction not be made until after their game on saturday so as not to give the leeds fans an excuse to start a riot.
Just imagine if they lose the appeal, lose the game and then lose the fight as well.
I don't condone violence to do with football, but if it happens I hope we kick those northern monkeys all the way back to the shit holes they come from.

Why do you sefferners always take the piss out of Northerners. We all know that the Northern part of England (particularly the north east) boasts some of Englands most stunning coastline and countryside.
The friendliness of our people is also legendary always willing to shout you a newcy at the Strawberry and always plenty of scantly dressed women offering to show you a good time
Sure beats the theatre over a cup of tea
Leeds to win 3-0
Re: Leeds appeal
Why do we take the piss out of norverners? Well mainly because it's an industrial waste land full of poor people. Any of them that half a brain move down south for better employment prospects. Newcastle is a superb city to get on the piss in but apart from that one city, you can stick anything from north of watford right up your jacksy, yorkshire especially. Inbred, sheep shagging norvern monkeys.sparrow wrote:Why do you sefferners always take the piss out of Northerners. Re: Leeds appeal
appeal is continuing until Monday and a decision will not be made until after the end of the season.
Surely the can't give them the points back then. If they did and it gives them automoatic promotion then the team in 2nd place would surely appeal the appeal. and then what if they play in the play offs and win them. The teams they beat might appeal, the appeal of the appeal that allowed them in the play offs in the first place.

of course it does but you asked "how wrong were you" so not completely wrong.Levendia wrote:on the pitch still means more
From all reports the northern monkeys were played off the pitch and were nothing special at all. Got their noses ahead and then put everyone behind the ball. Millwall paid for not converting their chances. From all the talk all week 'we're going to bring 4,000 to your place", "we're going to smash the place up". It was a complete non event, they couldn't even fill their allocation. How the mighty have fallen eh?

Re: Leeds appeal
funny that you say that as our average crowd for the year is around 26014 while millwall is a paltry 8605. guess its something to build on. suppose though you would of liked to fill the stadium a little bit more i can understand your disatisfaction
should not forget we have gillingham away and pending results you may be going for leeds in a week or two.
got to say though the court case is screwed had considered dipping into the emergencey fund for a visit to wembley god abiding but that crap will leave to short notice

Re: Leeds appeal
I guess 24,000 people had better things to do then than travel to the capital city to see their team in a promotion push. The facts are, a few years ago you were a premier league side, in the european cup and now you can only take 2,000 to Millwall. As i said, how the mighty have fallen.Cerveza wrote:funny that you say that as our average crowd for the year is around 26014 while millwall is a paltry 8605. guess its something to build on. suppose though you would of liked to fill the stadium a little bit more i can understand your disatisfaction

You see, we were never mighty so we don't care.

Re: Leeds appeal
na we were pretty much sealed it
you made the fa cup final once just a couple of years ago and were in europe yourselves . not our fault we have won more tropheys in the past
you should be happy we even made the trip to your city we brought 5000 more people to your ground than your average. i think it was your highest all season . we made up for 10% of your crowd that day on your average it would equal 22% . so if millwall were to be our equals you would bring around 5k people
i also meant that the 5k people at your ground were not of leeds but people knew you were playing us so they wanted to bandwagon. we brought just 1900.

Re: Leeds appeal
You had to have attended a game at the Den already this season to even be able to buy a ticket for the home end so not bandwagon but a big game will bring out more.Cerveza wrote:na we were pretty much sealed it

When have I said we were your equals, leeds are a much bigger club than Millwall and it will be fun playing you next season.
We sold our allocation at ER, you didn't sell yours. The North Stand holds 4,000 and you could only bring 1,900. You were only allocated 2,500 though (the upper tier) due to the reputations of both clubs.
There was a lot of talk about this game, as I said leeds were going to seel their end, leeds were going to smash up south london but in the end it proved just to be rumours. Leeds enjoyed their game, enjoyed their police escort all the way to/from the ground to Kings' Cross, proving once again that the Den is one of the safest grounds in the country for away fans.

Re: Leeds appeal
your right you never did call millwall our equals
your allocation at er was barely anything . they thought there would be trouble and by limiting your fans they thought that would settle things . ha ha we know how that ended
but yeah i bet the police escort would of been great singing away a 2 nil win
unfortunately though you wont be playing us next year . i wish it wasnt so but we have at least got to go to a league i can watch on fox . we will just have to take it to cardiff instead .just needed a bit of banter as the millwall fan at work had nothing to say and admitted defeat way to easy . i will be thinking of you when we play gillingham

You have a millwall supporter at your work :? I didn't realise there was 2 of us in adelaide. Where do you work? It's not Rohan by any chance is it?Cerveza wrote:your right you never did call millwall our equals

Nothing much really happened at ER. Froma ll reports, Leeds tried to give us a welcome, Millwall responded and the old bill were well ontop of if. Millwall tried to smash their way off the coches and the leeds that were only there for the show did a runner, but I'm sure had we got past the old bill there would have been plenty of leeds still around.
