Who?... Who is but a form, followed by the function of what... And what I am, is a man in a mask!

Mattieg1200 - re u15 A game - the young referree allowed a goal even though the player was at least 10 metres offside - what is going on ? Not to mention some dubious touchy frees to Gawler. My impression was that the young referree favoured Gawler which the ffsa should look into.mattieg1200 wrote:15A

I was at the 2nd match, Gawler v Campbelltown which the same referee "took charge" of. Every 50/50 decision went Gawler's way, we had a player booked for a tackle which took the ball and we also had numerous corners given as goal kicks.sgt peppers wrote:Mattieg1200 - re u15 A game - the young referree allowed a goal even though the player was at least 10 metres offside - what is going on ? I appreciate that these refs are young and learning and that it is good for the game for them to take up the job, but like anything - if you take it on, you do it properly.
There was clear favouritism to Gawler, which made it all the more satisfying when the final whistle went (after about 6 minutes of injury time, I might add).

Another annoying thing in the u15 game was that only 1 match ball was provided and we would had lost at least 5 minutes for the game in retrieving the match ball once it was kicked high, wide and handsome out of the soccer pitch.Xplosive wrote:I was at the 2nd match, Gawler v Campbelltown which the same referee "took charge" of. I as well dont want to discourage young referees but when you make blatant errors like the obvious offside goal in the u15 game it is so annoying and disheartening to the players and supporters.

Toros 4? - Croydon 0
It’s a bit suss of the score line I recon some one brought some players down from their U17’BS as they had a buy this week.
Watch out Croydon as the next time you meat it would be in Round 14 and which team has a buy once again. ??????????????
