if you had a trophy cabinet,(with some trophies in it) then yes it is important.
oh and have a good hit out against Raptors they should be tougher than Mt Gambier Appolo and slighly better than Athelstone.

The draws are usually made after Round 2 or 3.

The preliminary round is normally prior to Round 1, so how is that possible.
Things I am owed because they're too tight to pay up:

Colossus: One House

Costa: One Lunch

Oh and add in

Colossus: one photo and one letter from his "attorney".

Cup Round 1 is what I meant. Has the draw for the Preliminary Round not been issued? I do not keep up to date with these sort of issues as much as i used to.

Apparently all clubs can choose this year if they want to be in it or not (don’t know why they wouldn’t), as in the past some have pulled out at the last minute

I think they’ve given every club until the 10th of April to decide

Our Div 3 side didn't play in it last year as we didn't want players cup tied not enabling them to play in our div 2 (at that time) side. You only need a few injuries and you have to pull players out of lower division side to fill the gaps. Even though we are the same club and in a league situation they can play between the sides, in cups they cannot.

I like the idea of being able to cup tie players, it's obvious that the honesty policy does not work for everyone in the amatuer league and this is a good way of policing clubs and seizing the ability to chop and change sides depending on success. i also like the idea of a card check prior to the game IN CUP ROUNDS this allows cheaters to be caught out and people who are honest a fair game.
