17B's
Playford City 6-1 Campbelltown.
1st goal was in the first 5 minutes..Playford never looked like losing.
Playfords keeper had to be stretchered off in like the 10-15th minute due to a possible broken leg.

17A
ABE 3:2 WAB
2 excellent long range goals, one from each team.
ABE had a few more chances in front of goals, but overall a good close game.

I'm sure I speak on behalf of all other Junior Clubs in wishing him a speedy recovery.

Re: Round 2 results here
you heard correctly rabbit !!!
Para hills remained focused during the whole game, hence the 2-0 win.
i think Modbury got a little confused and thought they were coming out to play a game of rugby not football.
One of the para boys ended up with a broken leg, incidentally Para Hills got no cards, while Modbury recieved 4. The ref was only 17 years old and in my opinion far too inexperienced, as much as he tried to take control of the game, he failed miserably. Although matters were not helped by the modbury coach who was heard by several people telling his team to do very naughty things and then when he obviously thought they were going to far, lost control completely.
This is the only game where i have seen a player, push the ref away and Absolutely NOTHING was done about it, personally I think the ref was terrified as soon as the game was over he made a really quick exit. Leaving the ground steward to stop the modbury players starting a third fight.
This is not the first time that this Modbury u16's team has seriously hurt someone and personally feel that the FFSA need to address this. The Para hills boys behaved impecably, which was not easy to do when for nearly the whole game they were being threatened, hacked, elbowed, (in the face ! off play ) and stomped on, while on the ground.
Modbury's coach needs to realise that he can't bully his way through this season and perhaps should concentrate on teaching his team to play the game!!!!!

Yeah I think so because I overheard someone saying he broke the same leg again so must be.

Re: Round 2 results here
as observers waiting to play the next game we also noticed modburys tatics, but i must say para were no angels. the ref did his best but when you have TWO coaches screaming at you he did his best to take control. modbury are best cocentrating on football not wwf and para not instigating trouble.good luck to both teamsBlack and White wrote:you heard correctly rabbit !!!

The other times were what?, and to a typical parahills angel, it goes both ways mate swearing is meet with swearing kicking meet with kicking, the older the age group the worse it is, not saying its good for the game but it happens all teams do it so stop having a effin sook.
