A's - Mclaren Districts 1-3 Salisbury Villa
B's - McLaren Districts 2-3 Salisbury Villa

After an hour or so drive down there, it was good to come home with the points!!!

OISC 1 - 5 BOSA (3-2)
OISC (2) 1 - 8 Comets (1-3)

Comets looked extremely good in Division 3, very technical and had a good young midfield. Not as good as Villa last year but should easily be one of the top two or three in this division.

Sat Div 2
MA Hawks 2 - 4 Flinders Uni (reserves)
MA HAwks 1- 3 Flinders Uni (A's)

reserves- Hawks 2-1 up half time, great comeback from Flinders to get the victory.
A's- Flinders dominated the first half and should have went in at halftime with more than a 2-0 lead, hawks came out firing and got one back inthe first 20 of second half. Flinders then got back in the contest and grabbed another one.

Sat Div 2
Breakers 3-1 Monarchs (reserves)
Breakers 1-4 Monarchs (A's)

Credit to the African team - they definitely finished the game strongly!
Wanderers could have put the game well out of reach before that, being 2-0 up at the half and some clear chances going begging..
They should do well this year - maybe they'll finish second to the Wanderers :)

good result for the jets against the current champions. Did Stirling look a bit different to last years side i heard they have lost a few players. Did Chris Miller play for the Jets?

Terrible start to the season for SPOC. Playing on a HUGE pitch at Gleeson High (yes the game was rescheduled back there), they just used the pitch way better than Saints did. Early days however and you must think that with Brian Gale back in goals next week that will make a huge difference. Even still, my biased opinion, Saints will still be up there at the end of the season.

See how we go for round 2 hey!!!

Well done to the Vipers in their inaugural league game!

The B's were unlucky having a 2-0 lead earlier in the game, but still managed t0 draw 2-2.

The A's saw an incredibly dramatic finish, coming from 0-1 down and missing a penalty before winning it 2-1 with 5 minutes to go, the captain stealing in at the front post for a header against the run of play.

For any opponents of the Tigers, beware of their pace!!!

I heard from a source at the game that Saints looked very average. So all this talk about new players was bullshit? Maybe there star players had to attend the Head of the River celebrations, pass the Beluga Hamish.

Look at the bright side Monkey Boy. Due to the loss you shouldn't have much trouble getting a start next week after having to watch this week due to suspension.

good result for our team, very different team to last year but i think they were just as good. chris miller started on the bench but came on early as there was a injury and played very well in a new position. looking forward to our first home game next week :D

Sturt Marion should win that league. They've recruited well. Peter Buckley is their coach and alot of the Sat.Div1 title winning Stirling boys have followed him

Ah boys boys boys. Well you can talk all you want but probably the two biggest mouths in the team weren't on the pitch (Saggs - suspended, Gale - at a wedding). So we shall see what happens for the rest of the year. I am so pumped for next week to set you all straight.... round 2 - St Peters 4 - Whoever 0....

Saggs = big mouth, big calves, big bum, big head. Still gotta love him though.
