Stubbs or Carsley will take Torres out of the game.

Everton to win 2-0.

Goals from Arteta & Yakubu.

Go the Toffees.

Matteo Ferrari should come back to Everton was a gun.

I really hope we can beat Liverpool.

Why would Liverpool risk playing a full strength squad against Everton tonight in the derby when they have a Champions League Quarter final this week. There squad would be heavily fatigued same as Arsenal's who overturned a 2-0 defeat into a win. Wouldn't you take the Champions League more serious it's the biggest club competition in Europe and the World?? The smart option would be to play some reserves against Everton then they could have Arsenal's number in the Champions League.

Go the Toffees!

Please explain.

Then work out the percentage of goals Rooney and Ronaldo have scored for Utd,then do the same for any club, take their best 2 players out the equation.

It's a media myth that Liverpool rely on Gerrard and Torres any more than ANY club relies on their best 2 players.

Torres Out Of Merseyside Derby?

Liverpool are sweating on Fernando Torres' injury situation ahead of this weekend's pivotal Merseyside derby

The striker was the subject of several heavy challenges last night when playing for Spain against Italy, limping out of the game in the 49th minute after a collision with the Azzurri's Marco Materazzi.

Liverpool will now need to wait for a medical opinion on whether Torres will be fit enough to start Sunday's game against Everton, though if not it wouldn't be the first time an injury sustained on international duty has ruled him out of action for the Reds.

Spain won last night's game 1-0, with Torres' replacement David Villa netting the spectacular winning goal.

  No Torres no win, Go the Toffees!!
dirty pricks, the italians

yeah cos a certain "pom" did not break the ankle of a certain croatian International?????

Also, Torres was on the end of FAIR challenges!

i debunked this stupid myth a few weeks back.

of the top 4, liverpool had the biggest range of scorers and shared the goals pretty evenly apart from torres and gerrard

it was something like:

torres 25
gerrard 18
kuyt 10
babel 10
yossi 9
crouch 8

then MUFC (who we were comparing to) was similar to:

ronaldo 30
rooney 13
tevez 11
nani, giggs, fletcher 3

lol @ diegom

second half everton were much better and could've nicked a draw, but they didn't, so 6 points, cheers everton
