Why is it pissweak? If his family is italian and he feels italian, then why should he support any one else?

if he was born here why should he betray his OWN country. Dont live in the fantasy of your parents or grandparents.

Yeah he was born here. So what? Its what he feels in his heart not what it says on his birth certificate. He speaks italian, has an italian name, italian parents, italian everything yet he is Australian?? LOL

10 years ago when the sport was crud in this country he wouldnt be anything more than a 'wog watching wogball' to you.

ok so i have only started playing, supporting, following, living football since the A-League started, or the soccerooos got into the world cup, or whatever the point is you are trying to get across here, because i am not eyetalian. :?

Im not saying you cant support the country your parents were born in, the roots you stemmed from, but i believe you should hold the country you were born in, the country that gave you everything you have now, first and foremost.

I only caught the second half.
We didn't seem creative enough to score but controlled possession was cxlearly the objective.

Judging by the games Australia has so far played in Asian competition, it seems to me that Asian referees are quick to pay anything against Australia. I am willing to bet that if either the penalty incident or the two footed lunge happened the other way around Australia wold have been on the receiving end of the worst outcome just the same (ie no penalty and/or a red card).

The referee (no idea where he was from) for the Adel Utd v Changchun I thought delivered a consistent good performance.
For the Game. For the World.

I agree totally with you on that one. The referee in that match was great, especially when the asian players tried to wast time with injuries and what not. He took none of thier shit.

How did this topic about China vs. Australia get turned into a debate about Italy? Save it for another topic.

I meant assuming Italy qualify...

Australia should get out of this group. Then we can see who we get in the second round.

I thought there was a draw of two groups of five. That's how Asia used to be. I could be wrong though
