Bosna will be in the mix its too early to say predictions you dont know the opposition and last year means nothing. So everyone has a chance.

I'm sure downs will be up there again but i reckon either the vale or farmers will get them this year. Vale are looking the goods in my opinion.

My predictions:

Vale
Ingle Farm
Elizabeth Downs
Pontians
U.S.C. Lion
Parafield Gardens
Para Hills West
Salisbury Florina
Para Hills East
West Beach

Pontians
Farm
Downs.......... Any of the 3 could win it.

Relegation

Beach
East
Westies
Florina...................... Think it will be fought out between 3 of them for last spot as Beach are a certainty for the drop.

This is how it will be realistically, with a totally unbiased view as I am not playing....

Ingle Farm - Big squad, Simmo will take no sh#t and shake it up....
Elizabeth Downs - old boys, just to old for once more....
Vale - If Brooksy is still 'fit' then they could give it a shake - will miss TC big time.
Parafield Gardens - Will be round the mark, injuries early and unfit defenders may kill them.
U.S.C. Lion - Will be competitive as always
Pontians - May be early leaders but won't sustain it.....
Salisbury Florina - DB & Marron a big loss
Para Hills East - If their youngsters fire they could do ok.....
Para Hills West - close with East - First game pretty crucial!!!
West Beach - ??????? - Who knows, but will struggle if they haven't signed at least 5 quality players....

You've seen my nuts on many occassion TheWho. While they are nowhere near as impressive as the monstrosity that is your third leg they are still there. How is the interstate job going? Great 30th by the way.

Probably a bit early due to the fact that most are basing opinions on forum banter, but why not have a crack. Its always nice to say I told you so come the business end of the season.

Sun DIV 1

1. Ingle Farm - Plenty of new faces in a list as long as my arm.
2. Pontians - Plenty of talent in a who's who list. Fitness not as bad s you'd think. Team harmony biggest issue if things aren't going well.

9. Salisbury Florina
10. East or West

Contrary to popular belief, I think West Beach will survive. Most have written them off but nobody seems to know anything about them. A team of strong physical lads with some youthful excuberance out wide. No shortage of talent from what I've seen.

Sun DIV 2

1. Raptors - were unlucky to miss out last year. Quality quality quality.
2. Gully - New coach should get them in line. He hates to lose more than I do.
3. Vista or Inter (yet another Brad French cup). Brad would love this, getting to see his name on some form of trophy.

Good luck to the Vista boys but what is the story with only 7 turning up for the game with the gardens? BULLDOG or SPELLOW can you enlighten or is mind your own fat arse your final answer DAVE?

9. Bosna - I hope, generally struggle away from home for obvious reasons.
10. Pumas - Is that meat head still playing up front?

Not sure why we are predicted to win it. We have only signed Adam Dunt, Wade Dingle and Mick McGivern so far. We have lost possibly three players also. I think we will be up there but clear favourites is a bit over the top. Gardens, Vale and Downs will be up there with Pontians a dark horse. On their small pitch, it will play into their hands. On the bigger pitches like ours and Downs, they may struggle. The longer the season goes on, the fitter Lion will get and the more dangerous they become.

I wouldn't write West Beach off. Div 1 can be more about structure and physicality than absolute skill. They have guys that have been around for a while and know how each other play. They will test everyone this year.

As for Div 2, TTG can have no excuses this year. They have the players and resources to win the league, its just a case of it they have enough determination to do it. I have never seen Raptors play but we are playing them on Sunday in a trial so it should give us a better idea. Based on last seasons form, they should do well. How are the Knights looking? They are always a tough away game.

you've had your introduction to div 1 and done very well. you are still on the up, your enthusiasm, discipline and good coaching will give you a three year period where you can be awesome . then you drop down to the others. you have three years. don't waste them.
