What results do we have for this weekend guys. I know a few games were put on at night/late afternoon. I saw the lights on at Vista last night did they have a game?

Vista played Para Hills East.

East got the win 2 - 1 in the reserves and the first team game was 1 all. Very good performance from a young Vista outfit and it has been a really good pre season with a lot of positives coming from it. Bring on the season now.

Well done to Inter. With losing to a Div 2 team I suppose beaman will chuck the coaching job in.

Did PHW have a full strength side? Definitely not impressive results from them so far, but at the end of the day pre season means nothing.

I think Westies had the better of the play for the first half and a part of the second but they never really threatened the goal to much. Both teams were committed on a dust bowl of a pitch. Inters new striker upfront looks good. Westies would have got a lot out of it and Inter's two goals game late in the game. Some nice build up of play by Westies but they rushed it at times to. Needed someone to put there foot on the ball and take control of the middle.

Westies keeper did ok, a couple of miskicks but nothing to bad. They will miss Brook this year.

SPOC 1 - 0 Sturt Marion (last night @ 630)

Good game, with quite a high standard of play. Mind you Sturt were basically Sterling from last year.... So they should be the benchmark in Div 2 for sure.

I would've thought Adelaide Villa would be the benchmark.

Yeah and booted the ball 40m + everytime.... very effective
