The draw for the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League will take place at 12.30CET on Friday 22 March 2002 in Nyon.

Country rivals can meet
Teams from the same country can be drawn against each other but sides will be kept apart from anyone they played in the second group stage. For the quarter-finals, each of the four runners-up during the second group stage will be drawn against a group winner from another group.

No seeding for last four
The four group winners will play their quarter-final first-leg matches away from home. For the semi-finals, no clubs will be seeded and the first team drawn will play its first match at home, against the second team drawn (for example, winners of match 1 against winners of match 4).

Hampden Park final
The same procedure will apply for the second semi-final. A small draw (winners of semi-final 1 or winners of semi-final 2) will determine which club will be considered the home team at the final to be played on 15 May in Glasgow at Hampden Park.

UEFA Cup semi-finals
The draw for the UEFA Cup semi-finals will follow directly at 13.00CET.

It's an old draw. There's no second group stage anymore.

the correct time and date :D

UEFA's headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland host the draws on Friday afternoon for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of the 2007/08 UEFA club competitions.

UEFA Champions League
The UEFA Champions League draw will be made at 13.00CET and conducted by UEFA General Secretary David Taylor and the ambassador for the final in Moscow on 21 May, Russian goalkeeping legend Rinat Dasaev. The UEFA Cup draw will follow at 14.00CET and will be conducted by Mr Taylor and the ambassador for the 14 May final in Manchester, 1964 European Footballer of the Year Denis Law.

Quarter-finals
The eight winners of the ties played in the first knockout round of the UEFA Champions League will contest the quarter-finals, with the pairings determined by an open draw - meaning no country protection. The quarter-finals are played on a home-and-away basis, with the first legs on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 April and the return matches the following week. The four winning teams will, at that stage, know who they will meet in the semi-finals (to be played on 22/23 and 29/30 April), as the pairings will also be decided during the draw ceremony.

here's hoping Roma draw Liverpool. That way one of the scum will be eliminated and if it does happen the scousers should watch out as the dirty riommanisti will use knives to avenge for that 1984 final.
