The Downs will be hosting a comedy spectacular this Friday July 14th, tickets are only $5 and you can see 4 of the finest comedians Aussie has to offer, MC for the show will be Rich Naberhood. Beer specials will be on offer and will be a late night finish. All clubs are welcome but be aware this is cutting edge comedy, a sense of humour will be needed. Ph.0405 815 833 to book your table. Doors open at 6.45 pm.
We are currently in talks with promoters to bring wrestling nights to the Downs. Family tickets will be available and will be a great night for kids and parents. Stay tuned.

yes pom you can get a ticket at the door on the night or if you call me on 0405 815 833 i can hold tickets for you, yes most players and coaches will be there.

yes clowns to the left of me jokers to the right. ill be stuck in the middle with you. if maso pres comes we can do the wrestling show on the same night. Maso pres better come on friday if he wants me to come to his quiz night on sat, after all we are the reigning quiz show champions.

Nah, seriously. Good luck to you Downs Boys for the night. Good to see some initiative being shown to generate some money for your club. I think you may need it to keep your team of superstars for next year.

Vista had a comedy day last Sunday - it was called the B team performance. Boom-boom!

Yes Marooned, it has been a while. Good luck with Friday mate. I do like stand up comedy but I live a little further away these days so won't be getting there on Friday. Even Vista feels like the other end of the earth these days!

at only $5 a ticket and discounted beer i dont think so happy kopkite. as for illegal substances not on my shift. i get off about 9.30 though. main aim is to generate a bit of revenue and promote our club as a great venue. and to invite all our friends to come and have a laugh with us.

agreed, good $$ spinner i reckon, as for happy kopite, our comedy night will happen october long weekend with the 4 days of golf won't it, lets hope that slice of urs has improved or it may have to be changed to histerical night, boom boom ( i don't think i can talk that much though, you've beaten me last 3 occasions)
