krazy you are spot on.. the refs in the a-league say if you dont have the colour of your shorts, as we dont with our home strip, keep the colour the same with the whole team, and correct torza, balettis have got many colours of 'skins' skins in stock as of lastweek. and ther no fad peeps, if you got muscle problems you'll know they are a godsend, even if you dont they enable you to do more interms of lactic acid build up bein minimal

How would this apply to Adelaide Utd then, when skins come in both red and white. No excuse for players being photographed wearing flesh coloured skins then

whilst there is definate advantages to wearing skins, includin the reduction of lactic acid, i dont think under 13 and 15 girls really need to be wearing them, as they wouldnt have a clue what they are for.

If they want to reduce picking up grass burn wear bike pants.

As a female sweeper I find your comment really offensive. Keep your generalisations to yourselves.

BTW I think you would be surprised what 13 and 15 yo girls know that you don't.

Rather arrogant, derogatory and dismissive comments that are not needed in a forum on women's soccer.

The policies are vary clear - no jewellery, no bracelets, nothing sharp securing your hair, colour matching under shorts, and now - long sleeved under tops must match the sleeve colour.

A-league is different, because teams were bound to specific sponsor suppliers. If adidas was your sponsor and didn't make under shorts is electric pink to match your shorts, but 'skins' did, adidas what severly punish you if you wore the correct colour but wrong brand, hence they got off the hook.

Correct. The company 'Skins' produce nine different colours, although this particular colour range is only available for half tights - white, red, blue, navy, black, grey (white camouflage), flesh, green and maroon.

I've heard that if the company you're sponsored by doesn't supply the item you require, you are able to wear another brand of clothing. E.g. if you are sponsored by Nike you would not be able to wear 'Skins' as Nike have their own tights available, however, if Nike did not produce tights, you would be permitted to wear another brand, such as Skins.
