Haweksy, like come on mate, that is a ridiculous statement, one of the worst i have read really. Eyes on the ball??? Can you actually sit there and tell me he had eyes on the ball??? How might i ask, can you guarantee the forum he had eyes for the ball when it is quiet obvious that any player looking at a ball at an opponents feet is also looking at that opponents feet/legs??? You cant, so that in itself is a flawed opinionHawkesy wrote:3 games MAXIMUM!! and quite rightly so. Eyes on the ball, da silva just nips the ball away, too quick for him. You lot are 'avin a laff' if you think it deserves more than 3 games. If he hadn't been so badly injured, would have only been a yellow. I think birmingham should appeal the red.on the ball wrote:as for taylor hopefully he gets a lengthy ban cos that tackle was a disgrace!
I think its YOU who is having a laugh if you think it didnt deserve 3 games and i think its you having a bigger laugh, if you think Birmingham should appeal the red card decision!!! In my opinion, that was clearly a STUDS UP tackle and he had no intention of getting the ball because any defender with half a brain would of jockeyed Eduardo, especially knowing the skill level on the guy, not go in like a Bull on heat. That was a malicious challenge of the highest order, and you show no respect whatsoever to the players well being with the statement above. That tackle clean snapped both bones in his leg. It was a sickening challenge with sickening consequences for the player injured.
I propose that FIFA should start handing out suspensions for those sorts of tackles relevant to the injury. Therefor, Taylor should serve a suspension for the length of time it takes Eduardo to get back on the park. If that takes 12 to 24 months, then so be it. Why should that Dirty priiick enjoy his time on the park after he nearly and possibly ended the career of another player???
BAN THE DIRTY BASTARD FOR THE SAME TIME EDUARDO IS OUT OF THE GAME!!!
