The changerooms are pretty crap tho.....I had to sit on a pile of cones and nets to get changed when we were there 2 weeks ago. To think this is a club at the top of the league, pretty disappointing. I know it is out of their hands but how long does everything take??

what worrys me is that when sawsa joins up with ffsa they have strick guidlines about facilties. so i think that they should start pushing hard and between me and you. it doesnt take 5 years to get the ok for renovations etc, its just sad to see a club like city with a professional outfit to be look like a dump for changerooms...no showers

There are a number of Premier League clubs whose changerooms really need reviewing

Speaking of changerooms Id like to point out the fantastic job that Mr Swift from Cumby has done with the SAWSA Park changerooms. They look fantastic.
As well as a new paint job they have put a second toilet and have really spruced it up.
well worth a look when you all go down there for the national trials coming up

surely the money that they get for fees etc cause the number of teams they have that they can do at least something for the changerooms, facilities etc i just think its a shame that there players have to put up with that, i know at least they should have a scoreboard or something , or im a being a bit harsh,

Premier League players have to change behind a shed....doesnt matter how long they have been there, the facilities are unacceptable and they shouldn't have moved there in the first place if there were no adequate changerooms.

Oi dont knock city.. unfortunately the downfall does come with the council and getting approval.. Due to being situated in the parklands there are a lot of rules and regulations that need to be adhered to before before the plans can be even put up for proposal... Courtz should know of all people considering this is what you want to study at uni yeah..???

The plans have be changed though numerous times over the last few years and believe me there would be no one happier then the committee and the city girls to see the new club rooms go up...

And Gubs i'd rather sit on some cones and nets in a half shabby clubroom then have a decent changeroom but u have to put up with the stench of piss and not have any toilet facilities because its crusted over with poo

And Coyote - get a grip... a scoreboard WHERE have you seen a scoreboard at any womens game in South Australia- shit the pitches arnt even fenced around let alone have a scoreboard!! (Except Galwer sorry - FFSA Payout $$ thank you thank you)

Citys club fees are one of the cheapest club fees within the league... the club fees are kept low so it encourages more girls to play rather then the club trying to profit from club fees.... aka majority of mens and some womens teams!! The costs are high enough to run a club let alone try and have extra funds left over for freaking scoreboards!!

I honestly dont believe that people can go and knock other clubs before taking a good look at their own... im sure if we made a list of every premier club there would be numerous issues we could bring up for each club...

There is no super club so why pretend there should be - Womens soccer has a long way to go so instead of knocking each other would should be encouraging to build up and go from there! KAPISH!

is it super trooper or super tripper, no excuse , dont blame councils doesnt take 10 years to get approval if its been changed so many times then its your clubs fault, wait till FFSA take over and you wont be able to play your matches at your own ground

Oh herro when FFSA take over there will be no one able to play because garunteed there are only a bare minimum of clubs that would meet any of the criteria needed asshole

bit harsh really.....

playing in the parklands is grand but can really cripple clubs with regards to moving foward.

my club plays uses north parklands,(i'm a bloke btw) is 70 years old has a shit hut with one shower, one toilet, no bar and just a changeroom cos council won't let us do ANYTHING.

100% agree on the sangers Andy...

Prolly doesnt help City that they dont share facilities with any other clubs....

Fair call Super however, there are many clubs using the parklands and are able to at least provide a basic and hygienic level of player/spectator facility. Look around the parklands and you will see that many clubs have upgraded their facilities. For instance the Comets next to Adelaide high. How they got lights there remains a bloomin mystery as the parklands around the green belt are sacred and its hard to get anything substantial done there.

City have had "plans on the drawing board "for many many years and if I were involved (which I am not) I would suggest getting the facilties right within the building they have now and in the future (a long time yet), things will get done. As I said hygiene and a decent level of comfort is always paramount for clubs especially where women are involved.
