I would just like to send my best wishes to all the girls going away for the nationals.

To the Youth and Junior Teams leaving Friday for Coffs Harbour good luck and kick some butt for SA. (especially my daughter)

To the Under 14 State team going to Kanga Cup on Saturday. Good luck and no one is allowed to get injured!!!!!

And for all the prem teams have a nice week off, relax and take it easy.

Hey from Canberra everyone.
Just an update on the results so far.

Under 14s have first game this afternoon so Ill let you know how that goes later.

Under 15s
Northern NSW 7 vs FFSA 0 Saturday
Tasmania 1 vs FFSA 5 Sunday

Under 17s
Tasmania 0 vs FFSA 2 Saturday
FFSA had bye on Sunday

The under 15 state team went down to i think nsw 1-0 which has resulted in them playing off for 5th and 6th on friday! unlucky girls

Hey from canberra again,

Sorry couldnt get on before now
The Under 14 State team have won every game.

Monday
Girls were winning 5 nil and then one of the other players fractured her ankle so the team forfieted the second half
Tuesday
Girls won 4-0 against STFA
They then went on to beat Capital Acadmey 3 - 0
Wednesday
Girls won 5 - 0 against Western Creek

They now go straight thru to the Grand Final on Saturday

Like Pol Pot I would also like to know how Stephanie Ladas and Adriana Mylonas( two very fine Olympic girls) went during the week in Canberra.Please let us know how they played and how many goals they scored.Cheers from an interested Olympic supporter!!!!!

Hey Studs,

The girls did awesome.
Unfortunately they lost the grand final in extra time. 2-1

Really proud of all the girls.

Adriana was awsome on the field even having a cold and not feeling well for the last game.

Stephanie also did great with great tackles and passes thru to the strikers.

The girls were so devastated that they lost they really deserved to win but unfortunatly they just could not get it thru the net. (ref didnt help either)
