is anyone here watching serie A through seriea.tv? I often watch their free content but I've found the streams and picture quality quite poor most of the time with my 1.5mb ADSL1 plan. It's only 49us dollars until the end of the season but is it worth it?
thanks
thanks
FFS, I will be peakin if Setanatamerda get the rights. Remember ESPN's coverage??? I was unfortunate enough that ESPN had the rights to my team's home games.
I can remember watching us play and when Rocchi scored the commentators would scream "TOMMASO ROCCHI" in an American accent and when the opposition found the net the fuckwits didnt even know the names of the players. Setanta's coverage is apparently similar to ESPNs.
What we need is to somehow get SKY Italia who's coverage is as good as FOX's coverage of EPL here.

Ballotta, I am a Setanta subscriber and although they have limited serie A rights the commentators are nothing like the fools at ESPN and the video quality is way better than RAI. Juventino, I have been watching Rai in Australia since 1997. Things have worsened since Carlo Brienza took over from De laurentis. How hard is it to have PiP in 2008? Mind you, they had it until last year. The only positive this year is "La Domenica Sportiva".
OK, firstly RAI does not have the Italian rights after being royally shafted by Berlusconi/Galliani and Mediaset which means they only have the basic footage to use for their international coverage. Basically thats why their quality is getting worse. Also why 90 minuto no longer exists.patella wrote:Ballotta, I am a Setanta subscriber and although they have limited serie A rights the commentators are nothing like the fools at ESPN and the video quality is way better than RAI. Can't really comment on Setanta commentators as Im only going by what people tell me but if its anything like ESPN then they can keep their hands away from the rights.
wish we could get SKY italia
The problem with SETANTA is that they have way too many football matches to show at the same time and they seem to prioritize the......SCOTTISH premier league over the Serie A. The commentators are poms and they know the name of their players. I remember watching an ESPN serie A game once and Chinaglia was one of the commentators. Sky Italia would be good, I agree.marco ballotta wrote:

Are you serious? If turning a 20 minute highlight show into a 2 hr talk fest mainly directed at referee decisions as seen from 48 different camera angles is your thing, then yeah it's great.patella wrote: The only positive this year is "La Domenica Sportiva".
Personally I prefer to watch it by fast forwarding to the actual highlights of the game.
Agree giostra is going down hill. Would someone just bitch slap Italo Cucci already!
The best has to be the Sunday night game (early Monday morning here) undisturbed footage with crap commentary but at least you can watch the game in peace and check out the goals from the other games at half time.
Still can't believe that they don't show highlights from Napoli's home games.

That was a classic. It was funny when it was silent during the Reggina vs Cagliari game out of nowhere the commentator Shep Messing Mark Schwarzer's agent says: "Ohhhhhh Luca Toni!"marco ballotta wrote:FFS, I will be peakin if Setanatamerda get the rights. I know but considering it's being broadcasting to an international audience that Sky doesn't even service I can't see why Sky are refusing them access.Juventino wrote:They can't. Napoli are exclusive with Sky.97 wrote:Still can't believe that they don't show highlights from Napoli's home games.
