I heard a rumour that a couple of the lads that were there a few years ago may be coming back. One in particular has been playing first division amatuers. Any truth in this?

John Edwards was not the sole driving force of Athelstone. While he was a valuable member of the committee is the past few years the club will continue strong without him

Paul Beresford has left Gardens for Athelston from what Ive heard. Great guy good player if he stays injury free.

Bit of a strange move for Paul isn't it - he played well last year when I saw him for Gardens.

Have Athelstone got a keeper yet? What happened to the one from last year? From what I heard he was meant to be pretty good.

still no goalkeeper, and we have our first friendly next week. HELP, need one urgently. last years athelstone keeper has followed john edwards to EA vipers .

Solid fellow with an good eye for goal, my spies tell me he was out a couple of weeks ago having a run, and we are yet to see him at Raptors.
