I know both Paul Jones and Robbie Greenwood of Ingle Farm have been selected in the state squad again. I'm not sure if Jonesy is playing or not, but I heard that Rob is injured and won't be able to play.

What about John Sezenias from Asteras, won the Div 4 Player of the Year, only 24 years old, very talented player, wanted by Cobras and West Adelaide at the moment.

Why does it always have to be 35 year old players who can barely run being in the side?

So Div 2 Grove have 4 players in the state side?
I thought Mohammed had left Parafield?
M Clarke - Para Hills West - one of the hardest Centre Halves in the league - not geta look in (just ask most strikers who they hate marking them)

Has to be, not even the SAASL could make such horrific errors of judgement.

This has to be a joke? Surely there would have to be players like Kaftan, Aldridge (Gardens), Dunt (east), Clarky (west), Petch (Fulhum), Timmy (vale), etc etc, from div one that are all relatively young, fit and fast? Why are the league always such a damn joke with their selections? We wont be taken seriously unless we put a team that actually represents the best players / team in the league. The same goes for the MVP and state team sent away...

crue head made a good point that there are no Saturday players. What about the lad from Stirling who's won the golden boot for the last few years. From what I know he's young, fit, fast and obviously can score goals. And I'm sure he can't be the only one.

Also wouldn't the SAASL bring out a squad of players not just 11?

like i tell matty adams whenever i see him, shoulda stayed fed. seems much more comfy now though, from what ive seen when we played the downs last yr he was playin more of a defender, used to be a striker few years back. change seems to have been good one though. lad deserves a chance

In all seriousness, who is really in this team? They would want to send a strong team out against Super League opposition or the results could be very embarrassing indeed.

Lol, I can't believe so many of you have fallen for pikachu's post. No Grove players have been contacted.

In all seriousness though pikachu please don't name all of our good players on here or nugget will be chasing them with his cheque book :!:
I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.
