How did the Greek teams that played in Europe
go this week? Havnt heard much,they must have lost

They must have lost however Greece must still be Football European Champions.

Just saw the broadcast from Ert: Panonious 2 Girondins De Bourdeaux 3.
Ocassionally the Setanta broadcast mentions results from other games including the one they'll broadcast afterward so i chose to watch the Greek broadcast first on the premise that even if they mentioned other results I wouldn't understand the commentary. As it turned out, there was no commentary. I think it's the first time I've watched a game on t.v. with no commentary... quite surreal. Panonios threw away a two goal lead to lose 2-3. Kept Galatasary alive. I'm going to watch their match with Austria Wien now

Galatasaray 0 Austraia Wien 0. What a boring game. As expected Setanta did flash scores from other games, so it was just as well I watched the Ert coverage first. Panonious crash(ed) out, but on this showing I think Galatasary should count themselves lucky

Only for a few more months.

In the whole history of all cups,PAO came runner up
in the European Cup once,and Greece have won Euro once,
nothing really flash to brag about.

yes travis but better than many and any country with a beter record has a lot larger population as well. and dont forget greece have achieved excellent results in other sports such as basketball etc

Winning the European cup is nothing to brag about? What a malevra. I bet you watched it and cried for weeks afterwards. Sucked in. Your team wasnt good enough. :lol:
