Predictions for 08

Now that preseason is getting closer, what are some predictions for 08.

I'm tipping a Downs 3peat, Fuda to return 5 games into the season (If we dont win it :D)

Para Hills West to win the cup. (If we dont win it :D )

West Beach to stay up.

Adam Dunt to win Best Player of the year with Chris Ennis second.

Florina and Pontians to have a tight contest on who makes the best food.

TTG to get promoted but miss out on the league again.

Riots at 3 games in Div 2, police called to at least one.

Vista to whinge about referees again (hehe, sorry boys, had to get one in)

Asteras to take out Div 3.

Actually I dont think it will. The last few seasons have been good but I think there will be a couple of run away clubs to win leagues this year. I can also see a few clubs really stuggling.

Jay your kidding, we haven't even started training yet or even know who's playing for who & your predicting the Downs to win the league????? Have you been reading the book ''HOW TO WIN FREIND'S & SUCK UP TO PEOPLE'' :lol:

Its getting close to pre season and I would say that most clubs would have some Idea which players from there clubs have retired or left. The Downs would have a few that are retiring but Motts is good at getting in good players, Fuda, Reeves, Butler would be big losses if they dont play in 08 (Not saying there not) Gardens will have a few changes Im sure but also Cooky should bring replacements. If Ingle Farm retain there squad and start the season how they finished they should do well. Westies and Easties are hit and miss, The Vale will need changes to become more succesfull in the League (Must be OK current cup holders). West Beach and Pontian should be competative Id imagine but the first time in DIV1 for a long time and there is a difference between Div 1 and Div 2 (In my opinion) you dont really know what USC Lion are going to do.

Interesting times to come.

I'm very happy to be wrong about that prediction but they are tough to beat with a couple of good rumoured signings.

I didn't say he was playing for us, I'd love him to though. I just think he will win the league player of the year no matter who he plays for. If Fuda leaves, then people will probably put him up there as the hardest working midfielder

2 Seasons at Para Hills - As Captian.
2 Seasons at Gardens - Captained League winning side.

Many Individual trophies.

Steve was a great player, well respected by his teamates and opponents.

He will be a great Gaffa.
