Stirling coaching vacancy for 2008
It is with great regret we announce that our coaches have decided not to continue with us in 2008.
With that being said we have opened the position and are currently accepting nominations for senior coach for the 2008 year.
Please either email stirlingfc@gmail.com or call Alexis Burrett on 0439 866 137 if you would like to nominate.
Nominations close on Tuesday 27 November and the successful coach will be announced at the AGM on Saturday 1 December.

Sturt-Marion?????? Im not sure.Mr X wrote:Where did Peter Buckley get a better offer from?
I spoke to Peter after the Stirling v Downs game last season. He said he was unsure if he was coaching Striling next season, because he knew a few of his players were thinking of playing elsewhere. Im sure there were other reasons behind him leaving also, but he didnt seem like the kind of bloke to air his dirty laundry in public.
nah... I played under Buckley years ago and I dont think he's the sort of guy that would do that.....
to what some people say about him I actually enjoyed playing for him and have alot of respect for him. Very nice guy but also didnt mind letting you know when you f**ked up in so many words (I respect that though).... and lets be honest, he's got the results at Stirling and turned them into a very respected and successful amateur club....
be interesting to see how many of his guys go with him to Sturt Marion....

Not as many players are leaving Stirling as peviously thought.
The signing of Juan Rodriguez as coach ahs made a few think again about leaving.
Goldie is staying as he can't be bothered driving too far to training.
Hayes is staying as well.
