HELENIC, lets not forget to mention that the mighty Olympiakos are also sitting 2nd in their UCL group and only need a draw v Bremen in the last game to qualify. Of course i half expected you to leave us out since we are the only Greek team in the UCLHELLENIC wrote:AUSTRIA WIEN - PANIONIOS 0-1

BLEED THE FIFTH.
And as for your beloved Napoli, well let me not start on the most overrated club in Italian Footballing History because WITHOUT the great Diego Maradona, you'd still be hard to find on the map
Now FARK OFF and let Greeks deal with Greek Clubs and no need for you to comment on something you know nothing about you TOSSER

I can tell you now if this Lazio team was prepared properly for CL football we'd go through instead.. but we fucked it up and credit to Olympiacos, they've played well and deserve to progress if they get a result against werder.
Sorry Laziale, i didnt mean it in that regard but im just sick of these idiots commenting on something they know nothing about and just trying to stir the pot for no apparent reason. I had to give him some sort of response and unfortunately Lazio was in the wrong place at the wrong timeLaziale wrote:was there any need to bring us into this?COLOSSUS wrote:Your a dikhed Mastiff, why even come on here and start. But your right, Lazio have always been a pretty good side and i always enjoy watching them play. We (Olympiakos) also had a heap of injuries against you guys and i was actually surprised by the final result although stoked by it. If we get the desired minimum result (a draw) v Bremen in the final fixture, we would have earnt a much needed next round gig in the CL and i reckon it would be a great achievement because all of our 3 opponents in Lazio, Bremen & Real Madrid are top quality teams who are always around the mark in their respective Leagues and CL Football so im very very happy with Olympiakos if we make it. On the same token, if we dont get the desired result v Bremen at home in that last fixture then it would be a huge failure because all that work and all those good results to give us every chance of qualification would a mass to NOTHING. Lets hope not for our sake

If you read my post properly, you will find that im exactly the opposite of confident because Olympiakos have been in these situations before and messed them up so no im not confident but i would expect we SHOULD get at least a draw v Bremen at home, not too much to ask i would think. Lets just hope our boys come to play in the right frame of mindLaziale wrote:dont get too confident like I did before the game against you, werder are hitting form at a late stage in the group and are very good right now

PAO THRISKIA, THYRA 13
Blue Mastiff you little blue M&M you really should be thanking Greeks otherwise youd probably be supporting some other team as Naples would even exist. Naples was founded between the 7th and 6th centuries BC by the Greeks (actually, by inhabitants of the Greek colony Cuma) and was given the name Neapolis, meaning new city in Greek.
During the period of Roman domination, the city preserved its Greek language and customs. Following the Roman period, the city was dominated by many different groups of people (Goths, Byzantines, Lombards, Normans, Swabians, Angevins, Aragonese, Spaniards, Austrians, Bourbons and revolutionary French).
Oh man......Naples, the door knob of europe....Seems like everyone has had a turn.
As for Lazio.......Lazio's colours of white and sky blue were inspired by the national emblem of Greece, due to the fact that Lazio is a mixed sports club this was chosen in recognition of the fact that the Ancient Olympic Games and along with it the sporting tradition in Europe is linked to Greece.
Now kiss my ar-se

It has nothing to do with Lazio or Pandev but the stealing of Greek symbols & names.
If i posted a photo of the Young Lazio fan who was tragically killed a few weeks ago then mocked his death would you get offended?
I don't think you understand the sensitivities associated with this issue.
Please reconsider.

Bodo, to be quiet honest with you mae, you seem like a nice enough bloke and i respect the absolute majority of your posts but on this issue i will agree with the rest that you are way out of your league here my friend. I dont want to get into the politics side of things with you here because im over it but i will give you a little History lesson here so you know the truth about that symbol that Laziale has connected to his posts.Bodø Glimt wrote:Things are only offensive because people find them offensive and therefore the fault lies with them.
That symbol of what looks like the sun is actually GREEK believe it or not and is used by the FYROM on their national flag. It is called the "VERYINA", and if you count its rays (as in its sun rays), you will find that they come to a total of 16, which represents the 16 United States of Greece brought together by King Phillip, Alexander the Greats father. Now me personally, i dont mind that the FYROM use it on their National Flag because i see it as them recognising the fact that they are GREEK I know that will hurt them to hear and or read me say that, but that my friend is the TRUTH of the matter, simple as that
Yes it is offensive to many Greeks and i guess Laziale has used it for some purpose of getting some bites or starting a war of words between 2 peoples who are sensitive on this issue. Remember that the FYROM is probably the youngest country NOW in the world so it is still very fresh in the minds of us Greeks. American propaganda and the fact that America does things in the world for its own purposes has no boundaries and the people of FYROM will forever be in debt to the evil people who run the US of A, for without them, they would have no country called Macedonia and in rightly so.
History does not tell lies, and thank GOD for that because if you go back far enough to study History, there you will find who the Makethoni (Macedonians) really are, and i can tell you for fact that they are not a Former Yugoslav Republic
Thats all from me. Not wanting or trying to start any shiiiite, but just letting you know where the truths lie and where you may want to do some research before giving your opinion on such a touchy subject, thats all
Have a nice night Bodo
