Blue Square South side Havant and Waterlooville continued their amazing FA Cup adventure as they shocked Notts County in the second round.

Tony Taggart scored with just three minutes remaining to secure a dramatic 1-0 win against their League Two opponents at Meadow Lane.

The Hawks beat York City at KitKat Crescent in the first round and will be dreaming of a tie with one of the big guns in Sunday's third-round draw.

Elsewhere, Craig Mackail-Smith scored four goals as Peterborough ended plucky Staines Town's cup run.

Aaron McLean was also on target as the Posh thumped Steve Cordery's side 5-0 at Wheatsheaf Park.

Hereford once again overcame League One opposition as they brushed aside Hartlepool 2-0.

The League Two Bulls, who knocked out Leeds in the first round, were indebted to goals from John McCombe and Theo Robinson as they booked their place in the potentially lucrative third round.

Swindon's Blair Sturrock netted with just two minutes remaining to dump Forest Green Rovers out of the competition.

Goals from Stuart Fleetwood and Mark Beesley looked enough to secure a 2-2 draw, but Sturrock popped up at the death to break the visiting fans' hearts.

Oxford held Southend to a goalless draw, while Bristol Rovers crushed Rushden & Diamonds 5-1.

Elsewherem, Burton substitute Darren Stride snatched a late equaliser with his first touch to keep the non-league side's third-round dreams alive with a 1-1 draw against Barnet.

Barnet had grabbed the goal their impressive opening deserved when Liam Hatch met Adam Birchall's 19th-minute cross with a powerful volley.

Millwall cruised into the third round with a 2-1 win over Bournemouth as two goals in the space of five second-half minutes from on-loan duo Ahmet Brkovic and Will Hoskins proved crucial.

Shaun Cooper set up a nervy last 15 minutes for the hosts when he netted his first goal for the Cherries but it proved too little, too late.

Tranmere cruised through with a 3-0 victory over Bradford

Goals from Steven Jennings and a Chris Greenacre brace proved enough for the League One outfit at Valley Parade..

Northampton came from behind to earn a replay following a 1-1 draw with Walsall at Sixfields.

Walsall, 2-0 winners at Northampton in last week's league fixture, got the ideal start when Tommy Mooney gave them a fourth-minute lead but Northampton levelled four minutes later when top scorer Andy Kirk pounced to net.

Havant got to the 1st round last year and went out to Millwall. The police bill alone nearly bankrupt them as once again a police force over reacted due to the fact that Millwall were in town.

Why Millwall would bother with Havant and Waterlooville, still it's an excuse for the old bill to claim some overtime isn't it.

Dave Whelan had the right idea with dealing with those wankers.

yeah right. Obviously, I wasn't there but it's the new excuse when a team gets a result. Oh you only done some shirters and some kids. Trust me, no way would Millwall have run.

I'll find out the score from my mates.

Cass Pennant LMAO!!!

That bloke makes me laugh. His book is apparantly so full of lies it stopped being funny. He talks about being at the Den for a west ham match when the game happened 5 years later than he says.

Notice you cannot find a Millwall book out there on the shelves. We have more class. We don't have no Eddie Brimson in our ranks. We have our own nutty reputation and don't need to add to it with books that basically contain "yeah, then we went to stoke and we done them".

I've read Steve Hickmott's on the headhunters in the 80's as I know his brother. Should say knew his brother, he's dead now.

OK I have the Millwall side. They know of nothing that happened before the game but after there was a group of Blackpool giving it the biggun safely behind a police cordon. Millwall ran at them, gave a few slaps and the majority of the northerners beat Asafa Powell's world record.

One of my mate's was apparantly started on by a bloke who had a kid holding each hand. They turned round laughed at him and carried on walking. Keith would have been so drunk from that weekend up there though that the two kids were probably just his blurred vision.

i put this to my mate, hes likely to admit it if i write it in a email and not on the board but there rarely get run on their own turf but it could have been there youth as they openly admit they shat themselves that day. a few weeks later blood was shed when forrest were in town, some blokes are still doing time for it.

pennants books are a joke, cant beleieve i read welcome to the ICF. as for brimson, that watford tart wouldnt even know football violence if it hit him in the head, he is scum. steve cowans books about the blades are quality, as is hulls...city psychos and scally by andy nicholls
