Team tactics – involves teaching players and the team their responsibilities through the thirds of the field for both attacking and defending.
Other areas that we will address include technical functional topics (position related) – ie. center mid sending a diagonal pass behind the defense; tactical functional topics – ie. twin forwards combination play to create goal scoring opportunities; restart topics (“set-piecesâ€) ie. free kicks, kick -ins, etc.
Although each practice will have one main topic or focus, we will not work on the topic in isolation. Instead, the four components of the game – technique, tactics, fitness, and psychology will all be addressed to replicate the game as much as possible.
Junior Trainer with First Aid Certificate to assist with all injuries etc.
Players will have a pre- and post- season appraisal of technical abilities. Every player will be pushed and thoroughly challenged. I expect significant improvement from every player on the squad. Fundamentally, ALL players need much work.
We will let you know about other outside training opportunities or mini-camps that might be available for an additional fee.
Let me know if there are any questions. I will elaborate on the team’s training frequently throughout the course of the season.

I'm confused :?
I'm just trying to work out who this club is?
Is this the Adelaide Olympic that plays in the SAWSA Premier League (if so why only U13 &U15 girls, and why all those boys teams?), or is this a new off-shoot of the mens club which has no juniors cos they all went to West Adelaide Blues, or is this something else entirley
(I suspect the second, but please correct me if I am wrong..)

Olympic have announced their Junior Co-ordinator. Spiros Simeonakis has taken on a new role at the club. With Olympic Football club now focusing on its development of youth players, we are delighted that someone of Spiros’ quality and experience is now in charge of the junior players.
Damian Gesuato is the new Goalkeeper coach for 2008 and brings with him a vast amount of knowledge and experience in player development.
Dear Players, Parents & Coaches,
Spiros offers unique but proven programs that are used by the world best, BRAZIL!
Our programs are designed to provide the cutting edge tools required for player development.
Our method stimulates and encourages the player to creatively express themselves while all along having a great time in doing it. Fun and enjoyment is the key to player development. Hard work and dedication will be acknowledged by coaches, parents and players as an enjoyable element of the player’s progression.
Our players will train harder and longer because they simply enjoy and love it. Children need to work on their skills as if it’s an art form while always having a smile on their face. The respect for each other is common practice no matter of the ability of their peers.
We believe, if the best in the world do it this way then why not do what the best do? This is why our programs are successful, our Futsal Programs have proven this.
We welcome all current and new players to participate in these trials. We wish you all the very best and look forward to meeting you all and to a successful 2008 soccer season.
Regards
Spiros Simeonakis
