Beckham Allowed To Train With Arsenal Or Tottenham
A report in The Sun claims that David Beckham has been allowed to train in England - if England qualify for Euro 2008.
LA Galaxy have already poured cold water on reports that David Beckham could play for an English club during the MLS off season.
However, The Sun claim that they have given the nod to the player training in England during the winter to remain match fit for international duty.
The former England skipper has 97 caps at the moment, and is looking to get to 100, something which can only happen next year.
That - and indeed his participation in next summer's European Championships if England qualify - would be in jeopardy if he does not train keep himself match fit during the next four and a half months.
With that in mind, the MLS side have agreed to the player training with an English club, provided Steve McClaren's boys qualify for next summer's competition, and that he remains available to play in Galaxy's exhibition games.
The clubs being mentioned are, at the moment, Arsenal, Tottenham and Watford.
Arsene Wenger has always been an admirer of the midfielder, and would supposedly relish the chance to have his experience at his disposal on the training pitch.

Firstly were not a bottom 3 side, were 14th and secondly he can still keep his skills up and be match fit becasue we have worldclass coaches and state of the art facilities, like Ipswich said " he can't speak FRENCH" his not a frog like you bunch of scumForza Roma wrote:he will train with arsenal
what would beckham be thinking?
"hmm train with top side or bottom 3 side to keep my skills up there with the best and match fit... umm well the obvious choice would be..."

I think you should wait to say this untill firstly your country has secured qualification (presuming it is Italy?) and secondly when England have NOT qualified. Anyone remember a Beckham free kick against Greece . Lets hope an Israeli can produce something like that to sink the RussiansLaziale wrote:lol boys i wouldnt be worrying about it

Italy will qualify - with their backs against the wall, they will lift and qualify...Laziale wrote:I knew someone would say thatIpswichTown1878 wrote:I think you should wait to say this untill firstly your country has secured qualification (presuming it is Italy?) and secondly when England have NOT qualified.
