Italian Press: Inter Set To Sack Adriano
Reports in Italy suggest that Inter may be set to sack troubled striker Adriano over a breach of contract.
‘The Emperor’ has had serious problems on and off the field for the past 18 months and he has made just four appearances for the Nerazzurri this season.
Adriano’s agent Gilmar Rinaldi admitted earlier this weekend that his client may leave the club. “We are at a crossroads,†confessed Rinaldi.
“I will meet with the Inter directors again over the next few days, but we have to wait a little longer to evaluate what are the best conditions for everyone.â€
Now ‘Il Giornale’ is suggesting that Inter have shown Rinaldi some recent medical tests of Adriano which represent a “breach of contractâ€.
It is not revealed what the Inter medical team discovered during these examinations, but they are obviously serious enough to warrant sacking the player.
Other reports in Italy today suggest that the Scudetto holders are prepared to swap Adriano for Manchester City’s unsettled striker Rolando Bianchi.
Bianchi was instrumental in helping Reggina stay in Serie A last year, however since moving to Eastlands in the summer, the 24-year-old has barely been used by manager Sven Goran Eriksson.

sven goran erikkson is a total lunatic... what did bianchi do to upset him... vassel missed an open goal and bianchi sits on the bench till the 90th minute... why did he buy him if he prefers english style target men waiting for the long balls and holding up the play, rather than more technically gifted strikers who bring themselves into the play a lot more with pristeen ball control and dribbling ability like bianchi
