Inter-Lazio and all Sunday’s Serie A games could be called off after a Lazio fan was killed – apparently by a policeman – during a fight with Juventus supporters.
Initial reports are low on details at the moment, but it is believed two groups of Ultras clashed when they crossed paths at a motorway service station in Badia al Pino, Arezzo.
A Lazio fan was killed during the fighting, but it is currently claimed this was an accident caused by police officers.
A shot rang out to try to distract the group and the news agencies are suggesting the bullet struck the Lazio supporter.
An emergency meeting is currently being held between Lega Calcio President Antonio Matarrese and police chief Antonio Manganelli to decide whether to suspend Inter-Lazio or possibly the entire Week 12 fixture list.
There are fears that if it is confirmed a fan was killed by police officers, the tension between them and the Ultras around Italy will rise to dangerous levels this weekend.
Arezzo DA Vincenzo Giacobbe released a statement on the tragic incident. “We are ascertaining the chain of events and how this happened. We are sorry about this fatality.
“Once we have confirmed the responsibility, whoever it was will be rigorously prosecuted.â€
Lazio President Claudio Lotito also confirmed that the San Siro match against Inter could be called off.
“Lazio are ready to step back and not play. We have informed the authorities who will now make the opportune decisions,†said the patron.

The game between Inter and Lazio, in program today at 3pm (CET) at San Siro, is heading towards the postponement. Even though it is not yet official, the game will almost certainly not go ahead after a Lazio fan was accidentally shot by a policeman during a fight which erupted between Biancoceleste and Juventus fans at Arezzo.
Apparently, the Lazio fans cornered some Bianconeri fans in Arezzo and a confrontation between the two set of fans degenerated into a fight. Police arrived on location, but according to the latest information, a gunshot hit a Lazio fan who died instantly.
This tragic event occurred early this morning at around 9am. The rest of the Serie A program will go ahead, but all games will start with 10 or 15 minutes delay as a sign of mourning.

looks like Inter - Lazio is postponed all other games delayed 10 minutes. Haven't been able to source an official line though but just got confirmed on RAI International

A corteo is basically a march.In Milano, Laziali and Interisti made a corteo to the center of Milano where they stopped at a police station and started to damage it with stones, bottles and flare launches, now the corteo moved back to San Siro.
Some Laziali went to the Arezzo police station to protest. There are now going on the interrogations regarding the accident.
In every stadium no transparents and the only chants (if any, since some are protesting with silence) are those against the police.
In Parma, a corteo was made around the stadium, where they opened some fire extinguishers, the police was just watching and letting them do from the distance.

Your comments are miles off line as the incident that lead to the death of an innocent kid in a back seat of a car didn't involve any organised supporter groups. The supporters are protesting about how the police could be so reckless that someone dies over it and yet the league just wants to go on and continue playing matches.
To early to pass judgment as there are plenty of conflicting reports, including a report that the shot that killed the lad was intentional.
