4 POINT FOR A WIN.

Post by Blue Mastiff »

Thats right another great idea from the man they call ZOMBIE.

I propose 4 POINTS for an AWAY WIN.

Start re-doing those EPL / SERIE A tables.

And yes most pundits would say that it would give a great advantage to the big clubs for they regularly collect maximum points away from home anyways.......but for a team to win on the last day of the campaign away from home, collect 4 points and secure their top flight status...Gold Jerry Gold.

What does it really matter............2 points for a win was working OK then we had to have 3 because it entices more attcking play, if that is the motive make it 10 points for a win...............leave well enough alone.

win - 3 points

score draw - 1 point each

goaless draw - zero points

no more playing for 0-0 in away games

I think you should get a point for every 5 corners
2 points if you have 70% of play over 90 mins

The way most new football fans go the above are more important than scoring

Leave the bloody thing as it is.

3 points for any win
1 point for any draw
0 points for any loss

How can you not get rewarded for a 0-0 draw??? There are alot of entertaining 0-0 draws all over the world. Sometimes the keeper has a blinder or chances go missing.

And you can't give points for the number of corners & possession you have. How do you expect the minnow teams to compete???

I think he was being sarcastic.

Here's a revolutionary idea.

How about:
3 points for a win
1 point for a draw
0 points for a loss

I've often thought about how that extra point for a score draw would work and i've come to the conclusion that this sort of thing has the potential to cause collusion amongst clubs... think about it... first 5 minutes both teams concede "soft" goals and then play it out from there!!!

I know it sounds like that will never happen but you become a creature of the environment you live in and this will eventually happen if they did this!!

mastiff you've been talking to raymon too much lately. let me guess he came up with this genius of an idea over pancakes and maple syrup?

Leave it as it is. 3 points for a win is sufficient

3 corners = penalty (from the halfway line, no keeper!)

thats how we do it when we play 4 on 4 at the park on a balmy night after work in summer....
