While some clubs are fussy.....these are the ones that seem to have plenty of players including people ringing way after trials have ended....what I have seen frequently is players being picked in a side (sometimes even paying a deposit) and then still trialling out at other clubs. They then leave the side they were picked in short (and a headache for coaches and clubs alike)....

more seriously though had keeper this year really keen fitted in well, then he had to train on the field and we mean train not just stand in goals waiting for a ball to be kicked at him.

this is why the SSG has been brought in, this child had been in goals for 5 yrs and never went on the field.

the only problem with parents and kids doing the shop around i the kids feel there no good enough and loose interest or go back and play at a lower club or just give it away altogether.

at what stage do the parents get the idea the kids have dreams and they are just the vehicles to get them there.
