Cowandilla primary school. It's a shÃt ground. Fc Adelaide play around the corner, but when I was first looking for someone to go and watch many of the clubs have names not related to their suburb, Fc Adelaide's details just said Marion road which could have stretched anywhere from Henley Beach road to South of Marion so when the Allstars details said Cowandilla p/s I thought I know where that is. I have no ties to the club itself, just wanted to watch someone play.Jack Mehorf wrote:Where do Africa All Stars play Bodø?
Comets, Galaxy, Pirates, etc. apart from the north eastern suburbs many of the clubs don't have suburb names in them. In the Allstars division I'd say Strathylbyn and Flinders were the only one that did.
yea its all good... i meant post slut in a nice way!Bodø Glimt wrote:When I first registered here it was to get results from the amatuer leagues becasue the results were always up here before the offical site, and I began posting the Allstars results. I don't think it was until agust I ventured out of here and looked at other forums.
either way im sure you wouldnt have trouble finidng a club.

No I don't think they are. Two promotions in two years. First they won division three, and this year were runners up in division two. When they play well they play well. Unfortunately when they don't play well sometimes they fall apart. The game against Ignations they were awful and rightfully got hammered. The GREEN & GOLD wrote:africa have had a lot of good reports on them, havent seen them play but coming up the divisions and i believe will be in div 1 sat next year, all sudanese community club. are they the team that the saasl forward grants to? because i remember some teams had gov or fed support.
The Tigers play at the same ground. I saw them once and their fans were disgraceful. That was against Handorf. The Handrof club linesman actually rule a ball had crossed the line and awarded the Tigers a goal and for some reason the Tigers fans went beserk saying "is this guy qualified?". I think maybe they saw the flag go up and assume he gave offside (how could it be, it was a backpass) but there was no need for that carry on. I saw them play on one other occasion against Flinders and this time it was just one person carry on. Allstars fans are a lot better behaved.

Whilst you were asking that, I was typing the post above, so I've already answered your question. I think some of them are friends of each other.Jack Mehorf wrote:They must share the same ground with the African team we played I don't think they where called African all stars where they? The GREEN & GOLD wrote:africa have had a lot of good reports on them, havent seen them play but coming up the divisions and i believe will be in div 1 sat next year, all sudanese community club. are they the team that the saasl forward grants to? because i remember some teams had gov or fed support.

Hey G and G any truth to the rumour that Rick Derosa has been stitched up by Salisbury Inter or infact it could be Salisbury United. I was speaking to a couple of guys last week and they reckon it's a dead certThe GREEN & GOLD wrote:africa must be from sudan central and tigers from north sudan. Yeah Budapest gave us 2 good hit outs, we beat them 4-2 at home and 3-1 with 3 late goals away. They had a very experienced side but where onl good for a half against a decent team. Handorf where good for a half up there, I think we shocked the schit out of them in the first half of game 1 4-0 at HT they wern't expecting a team that could actually put 2 plu passes together even second half though. At home when we sealed the championship they pushed us for 90 min hit the crossbar 3 times, our keeper was world class that day what a champion. They had ex Modbury(i think) up front Sam Bowman scored 40 odd goals for the season, non against our keeper though We better not mention the rd 16 cup game against TTG though, it was getting a bit cold late in extra time, I think he just wanted to get the faark out of there.

I think as you get older the extra day to recover and spend with your kids is valuable, that keeps you in the good books, As a club you can also organise doos on Sat night without compromising it by effecting your performances, Sat without a doubt. Faark i think my house is about to blow over, Foxtel's gone.Bodø Glimt wrote:I also read threads about clubs switching from sunday to saturday. Which do you prefer?

The keeper of the A's never cooked a bbq!
After Pap stopped, it was up to Ciacc, Bert and that little twat "D".
But some of the other boys chipped in like joey G and Orland.
The keeper could of had a few beers whilst in goals cos most of the time he did fark allllll.
SaoPaolo, u know alot about Villa. U play or know someone there???
