Australasian Masters

Went down to Campbelltown Sports centre this morning, they are holding the soccer stages of the Australasian Masters Games. Both women & mens teams from all over Australia including teams from New Zealand. Pace a little slow, but skill level not bad with good passing games. Saw some familiar "OLDER" players.
Milan Ivanovic, Raymond Blair, Joe Barbaro, Tony Scalzi just to name a few.
Well set up with plenty to eat, first aid, massage facilities.
Well Done Campbelltown!

Why didn't the SAASL enter a combined team in the Masters Games, come to think of it, the State Amateur select might just qualify on grounds of age!
