there duznt have to be any arguement.. there is only a point to this case, and that is as followed
: that soccer in australia has always been called soccer
: AFL (AKA aussie rules lol) has always been called footy in australia...

but really at the end of the day its whateva floats ya boat... call it what ya want after all its your point of view therefore your personal opinion...

when new road rules come in, we must abide by them.

australia's new rule is, there is no such thing as soccer, only football, so be a nice law abiding citzen and follow the rules

1) Australian Rules Football aka aussie rules
2) Rugby (they call that football in NSW & QLD, but they're wrong)

Although its soccer to most people in australia, it should be more promoted as football. I'm trying to convince people its football. Its known through out the world as football, and therefore australia is apart of the world. Whenever someone is having a conversation with me and says 'soccer' and quickly chime in with 'you mean football'!
