Don't go complaining and bitching about Gawler and The Vale forfeiting games if your team is gonna do the same thing the next week.[/b]

I believe Taylor#5 is referring to the results topic - according to that fulham reserves forfeited to gawler.

Well we could have turned up and played..
Would you like to play against 7 players hey??????

I would have loved to play but only if we had a full team.
Unfortunatley in the end we had to forfiet.

I was just referring to the fact that last week on the forum quite a few people were complaining about teams forfeiting and some of them were from fulham. Then the fulham reserves forfeited so its a bit hypocritical of them, especially as one person said, "well they better be bothered turning up to their own ground next week."

I think it was more in regards to prems!

and also ..did they make u drive out to their ground then forefit on the day ...no ?

Season over who cares!

No team should forfiet. If you're going to commit to a team you should commit to playing out the season. I don't know how often it happens here, but I have seen players who stop going to games just because they can no longer win the league, which is not on. If the team can feild seven players, the game should go ahead. That's why it's called a fixture

ok ..but what if the club is doing the right thing ..and a small minority of girls.. who have made commitments.. and then gone back on them!? Should the club have to suffer such a high penalty for a small few who cant hack it?

You've got a point there, but at the end of the day clubs are responsible for their players. Perhaps players could pay a bond up front.

Not relavant to this, but if you want a avatar without the white box around it you can use this:

bond could work! no doubt there would be people who would appose any form of action that is taken to stop this tho..but something does need to be done!

thanks for the avitar pic without the box! looks better! :D

TAYLOR #5 - at least we didnt make you rock up and then fortfeit - get over it...
clearly we didnt have any players - like krazy noted several times it was the last game of the season nothing to play for.. our reserves just didnt havea ny players - short of our prems playing two games i think u should take a chill pill and just breathe darlin!!!

i agree with taylor # 5 in this case.. who cares if there is nohin left to play for.. im sure gawler or the vale have nothin to play for and they turn up most weeks except for last week.. u all said how ashamin it is that teams dont rock up and fulham does exactly the same thing.. unbelievable.. and yes shorty and mrs trainer.. not havin a go at u.. but id rather see a team of 7 or 8 then not turn up at all.. im sure u cudd use some of ur prems players ?

i cld be wrong but im pretty sure 7 is the cut off and u cant play if u have 7 or less..

fulham probably didnt even have 7 players......

we barely have enough players for prems - so we wld rather forfeit reserves and have them play for prems...

anyway our reserves (or the reserves we did have) would have been blown away due to the wind conditions!!!

Thanks mattieg1200 for supporting and understanding what i am saying. In relation to what shorty said about prems having to play 2 games, quite a few of the prems at gawler play two games every week so we can have the numbers and never complain because they want to make sure that reserves can play as well because they might end up playing for prems and the players want them to have as much playing time as they can get.

yer as far as i know.. taylor # 5 is correct.. in fact i know that this happens at almost every club so you cant keep using that excuse.. most prems players play reserves at some point to help out dont they ?

I agree with Taylor #5 too! If you're going to dish out criticism for teams forfeiting (under whatever circumstances) then you have to be prepared to cop it sweet in return.

Maybe there should be a system where along with the 0-3 loss a team could be held accountable for forfeits with a one point deduction to their points table total.
Football is all very well as a game for rough girls, but is hardly suitable for delicate boys.

I agree Keeps. We all play under the same rules so any piss weak excuse for forfeiting is not good enough. Fine the club whatever it is and dock them either 3 or 6 points each time. And if its the reserves only that a club keeps forfeiting then maybe they should look at docking points against the prems team. This forfeiting crap cannot continue as this is suppose to be the elite comp. and clubs in the state.

From what I can remember from the post on the Vales forfeit it was the fact that Fulham actually turned up to the game and then they forfeited that annoyed us, not the fact that they only had 6 girls out there.
Some of our girls had to drive 2 hours to get there.
At least we knew before hand that we did not have enough girls and therefore told Gawler.
I dont like to forfeit games but really mattieg your talking about playing 11 players against 7. Are they really going to learn anything from that....

You can play with seven. If one has to go off then the referee has no alternative but to abandon the game

mattieg1200, Taylor 5 and whoever else jumped on the bandwagon!

lets face it - gawler and vale cant talk about anyone when it comes to 4fitin regardless of the weekend just passed!

Now dont get me wrong ..im the FURTHEST thing from being a fulham fan.. but honestly ..think about this ...

Fulham prems played FRIDAY NITE ...against METRO - It was a hard game..

Why the hell would anyone in their right mind ..make their prems players (WHEN THEY HAVE BARELY ENOUGH TO PLAY AS IT IS) play 2 games on a sunday after playin on the friday night WHEN THEY HAVE A CUP FINAL to play?? - Especially against a Rough around the edges team like gawler ..who play a hard brand of football - in which could have cost them more injuries than its worth!

If you even think about replying with some bullshit about other teams have prems players playing 2 games and u shuld still wanna play even tho there is nothin to play for ...think about what i just said before ..IF UR IN UR RIGHT MIND THERE IS NO WAY IN THIS WORLD U WOULD HAVE MADE UR PREMS PLAY 2games .. maybe fulham shulda just 4fited prems 2 n not bothered at all they did have the league wrapped up ..

I dont like it when teams 4fit either ..but honestly u got a 3-0 win so TAKE IT!

Pretty sure we can talk this over and over and over and over. .but honestly .. just suck it up n move on!
