Well well well. Mr Golder. i dont think you have any right to be giving Steve shite on here. You continually gave him a mouth full during the game against us and personally i thought you were pretty bloody average yourself.
I'm not too sure though why you would be giving Steve greif on a public forum when you used to be team mates! Thats poor form!! Hiding behind a name on a forum and constantly spraying someone, wont get you far mate.

Hey can I just say calm down guys, yes Golder may have had an opinion but the only ones slurring here is east boy, Shane has said he doesnt think Ingham is the man for the Job thats what I read. But the only one slagging is East boy ?? Yes Ingham copped a bit against Gardens for 2 reasons he trained with us and left (Thats cool) and we beat East (and it was banter) My opinion is that there is a huge difference between being a good player which Ingham is and becoming a coach which he is untried, also theres a place to start coaching and maybe East isnt the place No numbers at training, even talking about training one night a week. Not good enough for 1st Division. I hope Ingham if he does get the job he can turn the club around as they are not the powerhouse they used to be. Calm down East boy this site is for opinions if you dont like it dont write on it!!!

I agree it is banter but i think he just stepped over the mark a bit mate. Give someone a chance to see how they go before people start bagging him. I can assure you that the EAST will get back to the powerhouse days!

I spoke with Gary when we played them a few weeks ago and he was told by the club he would not get the first team job. So i beleive he is now leaving the club.

I dont think i was slurring at all LRO. Yeah he has his opinion and yeah thats fine, but my point is more that i dont think anyone on this forum would slag anyone else off who they used to play with. What do you think Shane???? I have played against you guys for a long time now and the banter is always good fun. I'm thinking this is more of a personal attack. Am i right? Please tell us all if it is not?
I just cant stand people who try to knock something or someone before it has even been tried. We are trying to build the club back up to the glory days at east. You have to try different things to make changes dont you?

East this is a public forum & if you dont wish for your future coaches to be discussed on here then dont put it up for discussion! Your the people who let your club & Steve down by writting this tripe, ''Steve has my vote''! It's not an election or do you do things differently at EAST? What do you think everyone in the Amateur League is suppose to think the same as you about Steve Ingham? I wouldn't be happy with you blokes if I was Steve, what if he dosn't get the job what then?

And as for discussing our coaching on this forum, Barrie has been with our club eight years. He will be the first coach in our history to recieve Player Life Membership which no one has deserved more. We are in discussions with all our coaching staff however this isn't the forum we choose to discuss it !!!

ok ok lets just leave it at that boys. Maybe we have got a little defensive here. But hey Ingo is a top guy, you gardens boys should know that! But as i said in previous posts, i hate it when people bag it before it happens. Other forumites have put on here these rumours and we have just clarified the situation. None of us are on the comittee, so we dont even know what will happen. Sure everyone is entitled to an opinion. We know what direction we would like the club to be heading in and i for one think we are heading in the right direction. It will all take time....
Now lets just have a few beers over the weekend and enjoy our sundays off again!

Fair call east boy and good to see you have backed off a bit, i know you were just being defensive(like we all would about your club). As you said it's always easy to be negative but more people should be positive and not be so quick to be negative but roll with the punches as you know the facts of the situation and thats all that matters at the end of the day. All i can say is good luck to Ingo if he gets the job and good luck to PHE as they are a godd club with a godd bunch of lads.

Ingo & i have been mates for 10+ years throwin banter at oneanother on & off the field & still will today. I'll be the first to take the critisism thats due but you point me in the direction of any previous posts were i personally slagged Ingo..??

if your club is stupid enough to not learn by previous mistakes made by appointing an inexperience coach you wont retain your Div 1 status. - thats not personally slaggin Ingo thats just the facts.. actually about a couple of seasons ago wasnt it

why wouldnt PHE adverise ... see whats available and maybe have ingo as an assistant for the future....as with most successful organisation they have a succession plan ... this elevating a disinterest with players with a new coach outside of the club ....

im sure nugget would have this already arranged within parafield...

Div 2 in 06 3rd bottom Div 1 in 07 = Poor Form

Constantly spraying someone is you.. as soon as my name came out you couldnt wait to jump on & hide behind your computer to personally slag me on a public forum = Poor Form

So far

Downs - Mottram?
Farm - Simpson
Gardens - ?
Lion - Drago
PHW- Robbie Watkins? ( I heard he wants a year off)
Vale - ?
Florina - ?
PHE - Ingham?
Pontians - (Sorry I don't know who it is)
Beach Boys (Same as Pontians)

Looks like there will be a big turnover in coaches. Only really 2-4 coaches confirmed
