I heard a list of 40 players have been invited, anyone seen the list or know who's on it?

I have heard:

Reeves
Fuda
Blackwood
Butler
Marron
Elliott
Greenwood
Jones
3 from Stirling
Drago from Lion
Vickery

any others?

Lets face it the State Team is going to be a Joke, Before we mention players names and opinions (oops to late) what about the coach.

Eric Norman and Gary Collis - You couldnt have picked 2 worse coaches if you tried. At least let someone who knows more about players than there names.

1st Division Winning Coach?? Alan Mottram or

Gerry Pettit
Earl Pudler
Anton Antonoff

or at least let every club (OK Div 1 and 2 Sat Sunday) nominate 4- 5 players and hold training sessions. And pick a squad on form and training efforts.

There are some good players in Div 2 that would walk into any div 1 side. How about Manca from beach, Matzarapis from Pumas and definately three or four from Pontians e.g. Misailidis, Kerapitis, their coach etc.

why is the majority sunday players.....their are players in the saturday div 1 and 2 that could easily make that side.....y dont they get a look in.....i say do 2 allstar teams saturday vs sunday then pick the side....i personally think their would be a rude shock to these so called sunday superstars when put up against a saturday line up.....

going for the over 35's state team thats the new rule there is also the availability for younger players just like the 35s league

guys its easy to bag people for picking these players, but at the end of the day its the coaches opinion to pick a team he believes would win, you might as well invite 300 people and people will still say john had a good year in the eighth div. every time eric and gary has picked a team to play for the state ie melb/perth championships they have won .people still did not agree with the team, too old, too slow, too injured. you name people that should coach the squad but none of the other coaches have won when playing interstate. in my opinion eric and gary have done there job up to now. im sure the players that play for the state wear the shirt with 100% commitment

I don't believe it is the same Terry Hayes that used to play for Birkalla and the Cove etc. he'd be ~50 by now

What about Steve Maxwell from Southern Knights and Ivan Zafran from the Vale they could pull the boots on again!
And nobody is doubting that anyone who wear the State shirt would be anything less than 100% committed,
I'm sure Eric Norman should be committed

Have to agree Chris Ennis is a great player.

I sure there was just a squad of 20 picked and its going to be cut down
to 15 or 16.

I heard the Terry Hayes picked in the State Team is the son of Terry Hayes that every one is refering to.
