How Many Players Going From your Club?

Post by Knight7 »

I know we are losing 4 players for the World Cup, 3 good ones and me! Although we have had so many out this year (14 last week, 18 week before) if we get at least half back, we will be ahead!

Many other clubs losing players?

Well you wouldnt have thought the amateur league would use their brains and give a couple weeks off over the world cup period, seeing Autralia i playing, like the federation has.

Could get very costly for some clubs in the league, with key players leaving.

how about some of the Fed players make guest appearances in the Amatuer league to cover any losses due to the world cup?? Maybe max of 2 players per side?? OK, maybe not!! Could draw a few extra crowds though. Be interesting to see how the Fed players cope with the cow paddocks we play on!

Croatia's got 7 heading o/s...all out of the A's. Of that, only 4 heading to the WC and the rest are heading to the Cro coast to watch it. Add that to the 2-3 injuries atm, and it's basically our B's playing in the A's and the B's struggling for numbers every week.

the league is not postponing the season for a few weeks due to alot of club's grounds being leased from cricket sides, hence interrupting the cricket season. heaven forbid that the pathetic third world game of cricket be compromised!

I want to be playing during the WORLD CUP, screw having a break. The World Cup makes you want to play even more than before. I feel sorry for 90% of players in the FEDERATION league that are here, but cant play competitive footy.

Does anyone know if you FED players can be loaned to Amatuer sides?? It might make the league interesting :D

I agree too. Even if i watch a Premier League game on the Saturday night it gets you in mood for Sunday!!

As for the East we are loosing about 2-3 i think. We do have a fair bit of depth in the club at the minute, so hopefully it won't impact on us at all. Bit unlucky for clubs loosing players, but i'm sure it happens every world cup.

The Fed clubs are playing friendlies during the world cup break. They might as well have continued playing home and away games as it seems that not to many players are leaving to go overseas.
