A player i coach at St Peters plays for City, and she a gun in our comp but i'm keen to see how she is at a higher level. I'll be the one chasing my 4 year old daughter around i'd imagine.

hey yeah just wanted to know what this prem team of the year was, cause i havent heard of it before... is it a real team or just picking good players and putting them if a fake team... just wondering!!

Its a just a team that at the end of each year SAWSA put a list of about 30 players out to all the prem coaches and they pick who they think should be in the team.

They never play together but I reckon it would be good if that team plays in a charity game or something. Maybe like against another interstate team or even the young Matildas or something.

basically team of the year is made up of this girl called shorty!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh and mj mite get a look in and kirrals usually sits on the bench while bev refs and mk10 is in goals and harry is on the floor... i tihnk i covered everyone hahaha

Good thinking, but very doubtful....i cant see the young matildas playing a SAWSA select team before playing SASI. But a another interstate team, like the VIC league all star team or something would be good (i dunno what their league is called lol).

They had a SAWSA Select (all star/premier 11) vs Adelaide Sensation game in 2003. But because there were a few players from adelaide sensation in the SAWSA Select team, they had to get some oldies but goodies to play to fill the squad. Which was very good having the likes of Kristy Moore, Lyn White, Tanya Harrison, Lia Augumeri (?) on SAWSA Select team, and Marie Spagnoletti, Di Alagich, Lisa Devanna, Chichi May etc etc on Adelaide Sensation team. Cant remember everyone who played for both teams.
Anyways it was a good game. I think Sensation ended up winning? dont remember the score, but it was a good game, and fun to play before Adelaide United (back when Adel Sensation were allowed to play their home games there)..haha.
