Two players kept going at each other after a rough challenge. Apparently the Athelstone player kicked the Gawler guy (I didn't see this part) and then the Gawler guy headbutted the Athelstone player who punched him back. One of the Gawler supporters came flying in intent on punching someone.

Ref sent off both of the players originally fighting and called the game off. Disappointing way to end the day

I ran through and hit someone too, it was funny til i had to keep running cos there supporters were chasing me... they were losing 15-1, obviously they didnt care about the match in the end and just wanted to start a fight, so they pick on our top goalscorer!

Apparently there was a big punch on between supporters at the chilean vs el salvador game as well. I heard the police had to attend.
I'm very happy to have moved to West Ham, because I can play for a better team than Sheffield Wednesday.

Yeh there were haymakers... also headbutts, take-downs and leg sweeps... everything you need for a good mixed martial art UFC fight.

I personally thoguht my leg sweep and following right jab was a nice combo... but our striker proved that he is indeed a striker with some nice haymakers but only after he was headbutted for no reason... i think the reason may have been the score... 15-1 it was at the time

hahaha nah Im no hero, Im a smart ass... you think I really care about Gawler or fighting them or even better what you think of me? I didn't start this forum subject, I'm just commenting on it cos I was there.

Honestly I thought the whole thing was funny... me legging it out of the pack that were trying to hit me was funny but watching one of the guys chasing me fall over himself was even funnier.

At the end of the day supersub (a supersub for the C team, who sits on the bench for the C team anyway?) why would we start a fight when we were winning the game 15-1? It defies all logic, but then again up at Gawler there ain't too many people who use logic at all. At the end of the day your team should save yourselfs the embarassment and play in the womens league.

That one goal was offside and 14-1 would have been ok?

Perhaps we should have played the offside trap in the second half?
Perhaps we should have taken the forfeit?
Perhaps we should start thinking about next year?
Perhaps I shouldn't have taken that defender off and put that striker on at 1-1?

actually... Gawler were already 6 down when they scored after 20 minutes... that said it certainly showed our team they couldn't do it as easy as they thought...
