I was at this game and found it quite interesting that the Metro Prems team postponed their game today against Fulham Prems siting that they had several girls in State teams...Well why then did they play at least 6 Prem girls in their REserves Team!!!

If I were a regular Reserve player and had to sit out to let a PRem girl take my spot ..I would find somewhere else to play!! If you can play your prems in a reserve team then you can get a team of 11 to play your own game.....ask your Reserve girls to fill posi's in your Prem Team..that would be novel ...talk about roarting the rules, I think that the SAWSA hierarchy should see this comment and ask the Metro coaches to account for their actions..and next time they ask for a postponment question the validity..let me see now, how many catch up games to Metro have now...some 3 by now!!

Its stuff like this that tarnish the game..and give some teams distinct advantage....if you cant get a team together then maybe you do what other teams do and forfeit!! In fact thats what SAWSA should ask these teams to do, if they cant field a team maybe they should be in second div.

what a joke.

seemin metro have enough players to field a div 3 side as well, surely they could have organised players to push up so they could field a prem team.

This my exact point..isn't the whole idea of having a reserves team and below...to develop up and coming players to fill in to your Prems Team..Metro have many teams in the comp sooooo you would imagine that some young female soccer player in their club would love the chance to test their metal against other quality players. The more girls identified means that they put pressure on those in more senior teams to play for their postion rather than it be a given that they will keep it...the positive is that skills / quality of the game should also improve....The upshot is that the number of quality players viaing for SASI devlopment squads will also become competitive This is why we dont have more quality players knocking for selection in SASI & Aussie squads...coaches of Prem teams should be scouting lower age teams to nominate girls for further development for their Senior teams!!

I'm at a loss to know what coaches are thinking!!!

Metro should be penalised for this disgraceful roarting and wasting of time!! With Semi cup finals fast approaching its putting pressure on teams to play back to back games.....I know of girls with injiries not being able to be rested, because they are key players coaches are forced to play them with injuries!! This is where teams like Metro and others who constantly use and abuse these postponments should be deducted premiership points!! That would certainly be a deterrent to abuse the system, i can understand that there will be genuine times..we have already had games postponed due to the National ID Comp..thats a legitimate reason...but I dont see that we should be stopping for every extra comp that is scheduled during the season...clubs will just haver to cop it on the chin if girls from their clubs happen to make these teams. Like I said it opens the door for another young talented girl to prove and test themselves at a senior level !!!

I am really disappointed that SAWSA have allowed this to continue!!

PS: Silence is golden from the Metro Camp..maybe I've hit a nerve..in my assessment of this situation...I hope that SAWSA take this issue on board and ask them to account for their actions today!!!

I'm sure that when they (SAWSA) get a hold of the score sheet for the Reserves game, it will cerrtainly tell the tale!!!

Maybe coz noone else can get a word in??

are u for real with your last 20 posts???? coz for starters.. it wasnt "several" prems girls playing 2day in metros ressie team.. yes few girls might have played prems before.. but there was only ONE and ONE only that i can think of that was dropped for 2days game that is a regular starting 11 prems player!! I don't see this as a crime i anyway.. as Fulham had ONE prems player playing for them on the pitch also.. id call this even!! there is no reason at all for any of the ressie girls from metro to be annoyed about losing their spot.. WE AT METRO HAVE EVERY CONFIDENCE IN OUR RESSIE TEAM AS A WHOLE and believed they could do the job with no worries at all! I don't see the need to have a bl00dy court hearing etc.. im sure SAWSA have bigger fish to fry!! as for the prems not playing.. we had girls away at a state trip and as seen by SAWSA was a fair reason to postpon the game.. Let me ask u this.. y would any team in their rite mind play such an important game against a great opposition with only half their original squad if allowed to have the game held off?? EXACTLY no team would.. if the game wa sment to be played.. we would of played it BUT IT WASNT and metro would like to go into battle (in such an important game) with their strongest squad possible.. that a crime?? every team would do it!! I dont see y we would bring div 3 players up or any younger girls just for the sake of it.. i do believe its called Premier League for a reason!

good posts tho.. i just dont agree and dont belive we need a bl00dy judge n jury to sort this "crime" out!! was all by the rules approved by sawsa!! But il add it t the list of Metro's wrong doings!!

p.s if ive missed anything from any of your last 20 posts and can answer anything else let me know!!

All I'll say is that I noticed that neither of the 2 Metro people addressed why is that your club has the most number of games still to play which is putting pressure on other clubs to play games back to back at a time when there are semi cup finals coming up!!!

I think you should do a count because there wasn't just one PREMS player in your Reserves team !! The one lone Fulham Prems player in yesterdays squad was an original REserves player!! If Fulham didn't play a game because of State committments it was because everyone else was doing the same thing...not because they were playing the rules!! I'm sure that they have infact forfeited games when they have been short of players.

I think the last time I looked at Forums it was an avenue for discussing the game and its running to hopefully provide suggestions that will improve and strengthen the game for ALL, not soooo that it panders to the minority who use this vent idle banter!!

By all means you should be supporting your club..but you should also see that what your leaders are doing is quite immoral...and yes SAWSA should be looking at exactly the sort of things that your club is doing because it impacts on other CLUBS..the last time I looked there were other clubs in the competition.

Im also certained that yesterday I only played with only 1 'full time' prem player. Unless ur including myself as 1 of the 6 prem players, as ive sat on the bench this year for them... u got to get ur facts right before saying anything.

well the prem player for fulham - was me and i have previously played up to about 5 games leading into this game against metro reserves...

also if we wanted to stack our team i tihnk it would be fine as metro were the ones who postponed the game and we have 4 hard games coming up 99% of our team havent played a game in 3 weeks...
so hey it works both ways really...

we aren't personally going on about u guys having prem players playing so dont go on at fulham coz we were beaten by the better team an we dont have a problem with anything that went on yesterday....

MK - prems HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH 8) 8)

also - seriously leave metro alone..

1) its annoying
2) they are only a team
3) it starts unneccessary sh1t
4) they arent that bad
and
5) geeeeez let them play with who they want and let them sing their song..

so on this forum why dont we start a new rule - when its a topic that isnt relating to metro - DONT BRING THEM UP, coz it starts sh1t that we dont want on this forum and also coz sally's mum reads this hahaha

PS - why cant we all be friends like me n the olympic girls HAHA (theres ya comment biatches!!!)

Bacause YOU didnt notice them- they werent prems players?? Im telling you only ONE regular starting 11 prems player played.. unless u can name the other??

Ok fair point.. we got TWO games to be played.. but we too have semis to play.. Metro wouldnt of thought .. lets stack up the games at the end of season just b4 cup final or after.. they happen to be important games.. and we are wanting to play them asap!!

Yeah your rite.. ive done a count.. as stated! And fyi.. that player who happens to be a "original Reserve player" is also a starting 11 prems player who has played a lot higher level than local premier league!! way i see it.. both teams droped one prems player.. which make sit even!!

Once again y would a team forfeit such an important game if given the option not to!!

p.s not having a go at fulham.. just stating nothing wrong was done yesterday and we can cancell the court hearing!!
