i rate ppl like rooney,gerrard and ronaldo (brazilian) higher then messi at the moment

even the likes of john terry and nesta i rate higher at the moment they may not be dazzling but they are probably the 2 best central defenders in the world

C Ronald plays really well against poor opposition in The EPl and you say he is the best in the world? Where was he against the better teams (Liverpool, Chelsea) and in Europe?

He is good there is no doubt, but another overhyped modern footballer.

kaka, is miles better IMO.

he scored 2 goals at highbury when man u beat beat arsenal 4-2 the year before last he got best on ground in at least 3 of 6 champions leaue grioup games he blitzed against roma he had a very good game in the community shield this year to is that enough or should i keep going

usually ppl that dont support man u drill him any way nothing new

with due respect, he was far from outstanding on Sunday, in a poor game. Not one player played really well. And as you said he did well in group games in CL, where was he when it mattered against good teams?

Best on ground is meaningless anyhow. Older brits will knoo this, EVERY game Man Utd used to play on TV Bryan Robson got MOM, once he even got injured after 20mins and they gave it to him - he was the media darling of the time.

Steven Gerrard nearly always gets Liverpool MOM these days - even when he has a shocker.

I am not saying Ronaldo isn't good, but he is not fit to lace Kaka's or Ronaldhino's boots. He is young so he may get there.

To be truly world class you have to regularly single handedly keep your team going when they are struggling, that is why SG for Liverpool is so special, he has won them 2 cups and got them to the CL when he had a poorish team around him. Maradona in 86 the same.

As I said he has time on his side, Whiteside, Rooney, Owen, Best...they had done a lot by that time though.

Drogba v LFC at Stamford Bridge. LFC dominate the game then he scores a screamer. So he just stands there...yeah right.

That's just one, in fact find me a goal where he just stands there. You can't compare Ronaldo and Drogba, different players, different positions but as I said IMO Drogba was better last season.

yes they are 2 different players mate
but c.ronaldo was like 2nd or best goalscorer in the premiership last season
drogba is good but he doesnt have the talent and skill
best thing about him is his strength and his power
but yes he is a good striker

lets agree to differ. Gerrard scored 20 plus goals the season before.. but he is not he world's best. Stats dont always prove anything.

I woud say Ronaldo is better than Drogba overall, but last season Drogba was better in the EPL.

If defenders learned to watch the ball and not the feet, it's easy to play against him, hence why he (Ronaldo) doesn't give the world's best the runaround.
